i honestly hate it when people go on rants about how “the new shit sucks” and “icp lost something” or “Violent J is ruining Psychopathic”

to help i have a few simple rules for people to follow when listening to a new album.

1) pick up an album and listen to it with the mind set that you have never heard that group before. cause no it will most likely not be as good as your favorite past album, the simple fact is you have it in your mind that nothing will ever be as good as your “Riddlebox”, so stop comparing everything and listen to it as a stand alone album. before you put it on blast cause it’s not as good as “Riddlebox”

2)if you follow rule number one, and you still think an album sucks (it happens), then don’t listen to it. voice your opinion on here if you must, but don’t blow up on a rant every time you see someone say they enjoyed it. because i’m sorry to say but you are not the voice of the juggalo world, not everybody will have the same opinion as you on said album, and you have no place to jump people’s shit with comments like “Oh mY gawd, howz U evn liKe dat, iz sch a sHitTy albom. J rundz errrrythanG!!!”

whitch brings me to the most important rule 

3) YOU DO NOT KNOW VIOLENT J PERSONALLY. stop saying that it’s his fault an artists doesn’t get promoted as much. you don’t know that. stop with the allegations that J is just a greedy piece of shit that ruins albums and intentionally puts shit records out just to steal money from you, you don’t know what happens behind the scenes, you don’t know what any of these artists are really like on a personal level. you know Violent J, not Joesph Bruce; you know Shaggy 2 Dope, not Joey Utsler… ect stop acting like you kick it whith them and you really know what they are like behind the scenes, YOU DO NOT KNOW THEM PERSONALLY.

When did I ever say Dark Lotus sounds like shit because of Violent J? Don’t remember saying that, please quote me if I did. I simply asked the question about the person himself. The way a person operates around the people he/she does work with affects everyone’s work whether that person realizes it or not and especially so if that person is in charge. Once again, not saying its J’s fault but the fact that the label is falling apart and continuously shuffles around half-assed acts doesn’t give me any hope. Also, considering how he keeps hyping DJ Gay and company gives me no reassurance that he even gives a shit anymore, seems to be all $$$ to him.  

Did you guys even read my original post? If you did you may want to answer ALL the reasons I gave for the Psychopathic name being tarnished. No its not simply Violent J, never said that. Read it again, than you can “school” me on all your “knowledge”.

You also might want to look up the definition of a troll because that’s technically all I’ve experienced on this site, trolls.

If none of these work, put it on the shelf and come back 6 months or so later when you’ve gotten a completely different attitude or mindset.  And don’t go into it thinking, “Man, this was stinky Big Black level ass the first go around, why am I even bothering?” Because if that’s your mindset going into it, you didn’t give it enough time.

I think an album deserves multiple listens before a final judgement of dislike, but if you love it the first listen through, chances are that you will still love the album later.
