hhmm...as one of the doubters who has long believed icp's best years are far behind them, i am extremely surprised/happy w/this track.

"house of wax" was a giant step in the right direction, showing hints of the hunger/energy icp's been missing since "hells pit" & this song cemented my excitement for this album.

the beat is dark & interesting...not the greatest, but it works. i enjoyed the hook as well. simple, but effective. i cant recall icp ever really doing the dj-ed "repeating the last bar" hook thing before...but what really sticks out are the verses...both of them came 100% correct, as far as "new icp" is concerned. J had a confidence on "house of wax"/vomit that has been missing for years...he just sounds like he doesnt feel the pressure to produce a commercially viable product anymore & is actually enjoying himself. and i dunno what happen to shaggy, but he has been sounding far better than he has in yyeeaarrss. between the new dark lotus, that awful killjoy club record, and the ep/vomit, shaggy has been insanely on point.

my expectations for this album are far higher than they have been for anything icp's done since "hell's pit". ive got the feeling this is gonna blow the last 2 jokers cards away.

I feel like this album is this sets "riddlebox" where they finally get into their stride. But we won't REALLY know until we hear the album. Or until @wonka69 tells is since he's apparently close to Psy or at least really good at fronting.

Ok. Everyone read this thread. Now go read the track list thread. And tell me with a straight face that THAT is how you properly promote an album and this isn't.

i didnt reread, as my memeory works decently well, but im 97% sure that this was never anybodys contention.

I don't wanna speak on what I expect and hope from the album, I just hope they deliver some decent material. Song was tight. Definitely wanna hear more.

Do they really need guests on an album? I prefer it just to be ICP. My guess is you will see a couple on Found.

LuckyNumbrXIII said   ICP aren't known for their features.

And this is a great thing in my opinion.

That is what has me uninterested in new Tech, way to many collabs and not just the well known artist ("mainstream") ones either.

on the bible song I really do like...that beat and hook is dope and TI? I think its him wasnt that bad on it...but most of the collabs dont seem to work when Tech can spit lyrical fire and the others dont hold a candle to what tech can do and they come off as lazy sounding to my ears...some work most dont imo.

right.

gpks were so big, some moron actually greenlighted that movie, and spent actual money on it.

also, to really understand the garbage pail kid phenomenon, you first have to know about the cabbage patch kids phenomenon.

fuckin eighties.

it is on a lot of peoples 'best of the worst' lists.

we need a dedicated thread about that.  movies that are so bad, we love em.
