My wife and I will be putting out our 3rd annual Halloween single this year. So even if ICP's Hallowicked is metaphorical (which it won't be), I still got a little something for ya.

Not sure what you mean. I by no means think my putting out of a Halloween song even remotely comes close to anticipation for ICP, but we do actually do make the songs. Here's last year's:

haha no worries man. Honestly, we both have full time jobs and on top of that my wife is an artist which is another full-time job for her and I have been making music for use in soundtracks and stuff and so our output as Edgar Suit is just limited to the 1 Halloween song per year. Maybe at some point there will be more.

Thanks! I see what you mean. Every once in a while I do contemplate doing a cover of ICP but wouldn't go the parody route. Earlier in the year I thought about having my wife and I do one original song and one cover for this year but I don't think we'll have time. The cover was going to be Natural Born Killaz by Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. I do have a pretty dope version of the beat for it I started working on earlier in the year. We'll do it at some point.

Well I was never really in a ska band. I love ska and it's one of my influences, but the band was more rock, reggae, and hip hop. The band actually still exists. I started the band with the singer and it was just the 2 of us before we built up a band. Well, we all quit and the singer kept the name and apparently he's gone through about 4 different versions of the band and I do not keep up with it at all as we did not end on good terms. But I did a quick search and it seems the album I was on isn't really out there anywhere. Which is good because I found out he was still selling it well after I left and I was getting no cut. Anyway, I did find THIS which is a song we recorded in our house. It's a pretty cool song, definitely our most "hip hop" song we ever did. Not necessarily one of my favs but people dug it. 

Man, I'm gonna try my ass off to make it this year. Hallowicked has always been on the plans but it's never happened for me. This one is hard to stamp with the ever-damning "I'm for sure going next year" label. 

Who wanna place bets on if they'll announce Vanilla Ice and ABK not being able to make it out for it or if you think they'll just not be there? Cause I don't think either one of em are showing, it's just a matter of it it'll actually get said. 

If this is the vibe they're throwing down to announce the new card (not gonna be called "Red Fred" but it'll be something like the "Fantastically Frantic Fred" or other some such alliteration) than the fuckers have baited me again with the shit. Truly hope it doesn't end up as another Missing Link disappointment...

This all looks mad dope. However my only gripe is why not announce this sooner? What was the holdup? The venue looks massive, and this event is fresh enough to have drawn mad people, but not with 3 weeks notice...  

It probably has something to do with how massive this Hallowicked is going to be. Insurance, waiting to hear back from all the artists, waiting on the approval for the wresting and all the shit involved with that involving paramedics and whatnot, confirming bookings, etc. etc. 

Chances are they started looking at venues/artists at the same time that they do every year instead of accounting for all the extra work involved in this one, thus the announcement taking much longer than usual.

ABK would have to come up with a pretty good one this time.  He lives in Detroit.  He can take an uber there if necessary.  

ABK is taking a hiatus tonight. His neden is haunted. Halloween shit, Juggalos! Happens to the best of us.

What if they did "Feels So Right?" at the show? That would rock.

I strongly suspect ABK will be there. Doubt he'd even be announced if there was any doubt after him not doing the march. My guess is he goes on right before ICP.
