I think is boring for artists to just be them without the gimmick..theres so many fuckin people out there are themselves and its just boring..icp did it well and makes makes it more entertaining then to just watch some dude pace back and fourth on a stage..dont get me wrong there are shit tons of good artists that dont have gimmicks that are good but in doe dubblas case big hooddoo makes him more interesting imo….

I dont see how a juggalo could really hate on this. Gimmick fits right into the world of Psychopathic, the rapping was on point, the beat was good…….. I mean, the song aint blow me away or nothing but it was solid and I think overall this will be recieved well. I didnt have any expectations but I dug this

I don’t agree though, I mean most artists use the gimmick largely for their first album then start using it lightly for their later albums, making more personal music. You can have a gimmick and release personal shit that you want on their, look at ABK, Twiztid and Boondocks. I don’t think they have as much control as people think.

Plus, Tech N9ne’s Pinocchiho was not only a huge gimmicky song, it was also a huge metaphor for how he felt his relationships with women are.

He’s not doing horrorcore anymore? One of my all time favorite songs is Esham in the 80s, that sucks. Oh well, his real shit is still awesome as fuck too.

When you put it that way it all makes sense, I just personally have problems with the fact that people hate each other with a passion over stupid ass shit. Which might seem contradicting to my statement when I said I hate everything…

People in general are negative as fuck to be honest man, most folks would rather sit around and whine about what they hate then support what they love. When you do the kind of music that Gordy & Bizarre and them make, you gotta expect some backlash from it, its like that “Serbian Movie” or whatever, I seen the director crying about the reaction it got and Im thinkin C’mon dude, you knew people were gonna be offended by that, quit acting surprised lol If you believe in what your doing then the hate shouldnt bother you anyway it comes with the territory
