the albums were all mixed and mastered by their labels. sometimes they didnt even put the credits in the book to make it seem a different way. but if u read behind the pain, jay talks about kickin it hollywood, meetin celebs, recording at a studio where slash was and got him on a song, same with the sex pistols guy and fuckin alice cooper! the gimmick is their in the basment, they were in big studios. i like when they have better production like that cuz they make good shit. the EPs were all recorded just by themselves with Mike E thats why beverly kills and those are more raw sounding.

when i first got into icp in 1999 and i heard the old shit, it seemed like they made fun of wat a juggalo was, like it wasnt cool 2 be one or something. i cant really explain it. it was never like juggalos are family and all that shit 2day. it was like the world juggalo was the butt of their jokes, like "wat is a juggalo?" thats not really uplifiting, i heard that back in 99 and was like, i love these guys music more than anyone i know but that shit aint me lol. now they 2 empower wat a juggalo is or somethin.

I never took that from icp. To me they kind of made it ok to be a loser/scrub. Rappin' about goin' to school with food stamps in their socks and bein' hated on by all the other kids. It wasn't cool to the rest of the world but it was to us. It's like if you can make fun of yourself and acknowledge what you are then peoples hateful words no longer hold any sway over you.....It's like yeah my families broke and i'm wearing wal-mart shoes...SO FUCKING WHAT?

ICP is a reflection of the world we live in.Not just the poverty situation but the people they kill in their songs... It's like y'all are wife beaters, child molesters, bigots, and crooked police. And you think that WE are the ones that are fucked up? We are just two guys in clown paint and WE are really the normal ones.

They made me feel better and realize I didn't need to fit in. That I really didn't have any desire to fit into what we deem a "normal" society

I will have to second this cuz i new i wasnt like everyone else and when i found out about ICP and how they did stuff that was not like ur average rap i was like yea we belong and when Twiztid put out Im Different on FreekShow i was like this is me! Then We belong on The Wraith and they basically have come out with songs that i can relate to heavily although out the time ive been listening to them. Whoop Whoop.
