In his defense i've read hundreds of books and never saw the word "poetical" used. Just not a widely used word.

@preachy. I know there have been mentions of school shootings on psychopathic releases, just never a straight up song about it. "Im bout to enroll in columbine and finish the fuckin' job" "Get it crackin' like an oriental new kid"

Well u got me pardner cuz i have never seen it in the books that i have read in the thousands of pages that these books contain. Thats cool. And yes a school shooting song would be wild like from the perspective of the shooter and maybe even a victems perspective too.  On the next project they d i hope more story type songs are done like i really enjoyed Shugston Brooks a whole lot cuz its cool story.

when the sandy hook shooting hit the news, it was the first time i felt that "crossing the bridge" was relevant

and juggalos are just sick of them OVERUSING the term "juggalos" in their songs. they used to barely say and when they did it was special. but now every album has a juggalo song, its burned out.

those newsletters and those horrible updates on youtube from suga slam and dj clay are the dumbest shit ever....i dont know why all of a sudden they were giving us news like we are all 5 years old and they over use "fresh", "stale" and all those other terms. just tell us the news str8 up lol. SNL owned them when they mocked it. they should have seen that as a sign 2 switch it up.

i remember when shaggs and J dressed up as news anchors and played in character, god damn those were funny and creative. i remember getting updates in the early 2000s in the comic books and they were more serious and they were ruthless . now they talk 2 us like fuckin babies. i mean after lotus did "juggalo family" is there any need for 20 more juggalo songs? that was one was classic and thats all we need.

only abk's verse is about juggalos... the rest of the songs is about themselves & each other...

Fats Pepper was the shit! I do hate how they over hype everything but that isn't anything new dude. I remember back in the day their website always doing the same shit, before the videos and hatchet heralds. "Your gonna have to pick your hair up off the floor cuz this freshness will blow your wig clean off!" "This radioactive sound will desecrate your scrotum sack and blow your asshole wide open!" Not exact words mind you but you catch my drift

There was a sarcasm to the way they would fake hype everything up back in the day though. I remember on the back of the Mad Professor single, to promote their fan club newsletters, it said something like "Join the ICP devil worshiping cult!" (it was way longer than that). And in one of the albums it said to send the letter to "Flick My Nut Bag, PO Box...". Just random ass funny shit for juggalos to giggle at. That sarcastic humor was their entire essence back then. Especially on their promotion.

Now it seems like they're selling that fake hype as legit and everything is just a bunch of buzzwords. Remember Spazmatic? Sorry if you forgot. I wish I did. Even ICP rap about how cool they are now without a hint of sarcasm. It's just all annoying. J responded to the hate of their promotion in one of the Hatchet Heralds though. He said to judge their music, not their promotion. That doesn't make a lick of sense. Who is the promotion for if not for the juggalos? Isn't the promotion supposed to make juggalos want to buy your shit? Just more evidence dude has lost touch with reality.

I wouldn't go as far as to say they rap about being cool without a hint of sarcasm. Do you really think he thinks it's cool to "Blow out his mattress, fucking fat chicks"?

Or like that song "Boing Boing" on BPB? I guess some thought they were being serious on that track, but I loved it myself. Reminded me of "Lil Somethin Somethin" back in the day.

And this is coming from somebody who doesn't care much for the new albums

when i first got into icp in 1999 and i heard the old shit, it seemed like they made fun of wat a juggalo was, like it wasnt cool 2 be one or something. i cant really explain it. it was never like juggalos are family and all that shit 2day. it was like the world juggalo was the butt of their jokes, like "wat is a juggalo?" thats not really uplifiting, i heard that back in 99 and was like, i love these guys music more than anyone i know but that shit aint me lol. now they 2 empower wat a juggalo is or somethin.

its like ICP was sayin we are all bummy, fat kids and loved fat girls, we are all broke or watever. it was strictly comedy. twiztid came on the label and on freekshow to their latest releases they said juggalo with pride, they put a street twist on it. "fuck everybody in yo' click, if u dont run with a hatchet or claim 2 psychopathic" on juggalo anthem. they gave it a street style like it was dope, kindda with a gangsta twist. its hard 2 explain.

thats wat i mean, twiztid really launched off the juggalo movement. ICP was cool with just being on Jive and Hollywood, they got paid, they toured had big budget videos and they had really good studios for mike e clark 2 work in. i think alot of juggalos dont realize thats why they old shit was better. they were in million dollar studios. bizzar bizzar was the last on on island / def jam. shagri la they got big label money 2 record so they went around the world and recorded in good studios. kmk was like that too when capital was givin them a budget for "high society".

twiztid gave juggalos the look, the lingo and alot of the style people associate with juggalos. before twiztid "juggalos" were kids who wore the clown paint and went 2 these wild soda throwin concerts. thats wat it was. twiztid gave it a gangsta twist and alot of juggalos went that way.

I never took that from icp. To me they kind of made it ok to be a loser/scrub. Rappin' about goin' to school with food stamps in their socks and bein' hated on by all the other kids. It wasn't cool to the rest of the world but it was to us. It's like if you can make fun of yourself and acknowledge what you are then peoples hateful words no longer hold any sway over you.....It's like yeah my families broke and i'm wearing wal-mart shoes...SO FUCKING WHAT?

ICP is a reflection of the world we live in.Not just the poverty situation but the people they kill in their songs... It's like y'all are wife beaters, child molesters, bigots, and crooked police. And you think that WE are the ones that are fucked up? We are just two guys in clown paint and WE are really the normal ones.

They made me feel better and realize I didn't need to fit in. That I really didn't have any desire to fit into what we deem a "normal" society
