Here are my thoughts on Lex Masters/Lex The Hex Master and the new track that MNE released.  At first, I hated it, absolutely hated it and never gave it a chance.  I also went searching for his earlier stuff he had put out as Lex Masters and, at least for me, I did not like anything he did, it just wasnt my style/not for me.  Now, going back to this track – Bomb On ‘Em – Im digging it now.  I have given it a few listens and what I do love about it, is the style of the music – chaotic, dirty, all over the place, even though it does follow a “formula/path” it doesnt.  You can hear new stuff within the music after repeated listens if you pay attention.

Now, with his paint – its not like Jamie and Paul said – Lets slap some paint on him and give him this gimmick, ya know.  Lex has had this paint for quite some time before MNE and every track I have heard, seen live on YouTube he has performed pre-MNE, the paint is there – its what he is doing to attempt to stand out from all the other rappers out there and it works.  I was not interested in this debut release from MNE at all, but now after listening to the track a few times and checking out the small interview they did with him on their Ashtrays and Action Figures show, I am looking forward to it

MNE in 2016 – Blaze, Lex, maybe some Boondox (thats if he has signed, but I think he has because at the end of F.T.S. he was in the video on the tour bus, so who knows) and whatever else they do put out, Im stoked.  If they were to re-do a couple of their albums, not remaster, but re-do with their live band – that would be awesome as well in my opinion.  I do love that they do use a live band sometimes and it truly shows that they are not afraid of trying new things and it works and what is wrong with exploring their talents as musicians?  Rapping over a backing track with chorus and even vocals for years and years – one gets bored with that and its no longer challenging, so I love the fact that they are using a live band for some shows

in less than a year he will be begging either psy or mne to sign him 

He claims he was still under contract so he couldnt do anything,yet i guess hes forgetting the underground avengers album and the little ep he sold pre orders on than never delivered. I think T.o.n.e-z said it best when i asked him what he thought about boondox a while after they worked together

honestly this raises so many red flags,starts the interview super confident, but when the topic of underground and juggalos comes up he starts stammering and stuttering, then when the topic changes hes really confident again. Its clear that he is bullshitting.Also when scottie asked if he was following twiztid doing their own thing, the way he said “uh……yea…..yea……” you could tell in his voice how cautious he was, like he was expecting some follow up question he wouldnt have the answer to,and than he started stammering again

I for one thought he souded genuine and down to earth. He has confidence in his music and kept it real dude. Even if his music sucks the guy sounds like a homie in my book.

I wasn’t even aware of a connection with Lynch.  What was the tie-in there?

on a different interview as lex masters the host of the show as like “your song reminds me of lynch, you like him?” and he was like “oh who?” and the host was like “brotha lynch… lynch hung, uh I… you know brother lynch hung” and he was just like “nah never heard of him but thats cool maybe we can do a song together!” How can you try and be in horrorcore and not do your homework. It made him look like such a phoney imo.

His voice is nearly identical to ABK. Feels like a rip off of Big Hoodoo. But I don’t want to talk shit about it. Not yet. I might end up really liking Lex. It’s just that right now, from what I’ve currently heard from him, I’m not all that impressed. Nothing about it sticks out.

Lex is the new blaze. I’m super hyped for him. I was super hyped when blaze first started with psychopathic. They both have the same feel to me. Gangsta shit mixed with they wicked shit. Lex will be a success and the next big thing in juggalo movement.
