Nothing special Imo, and I'm still of the mindset that I liked shit better when Twiztid and Blaze were on psy. Majik Ninja is a disappointing step as far as I'm concerned.

as far as Lex goes, I mean I don't disrespect the guy, but nothing he's saying is particulary moving or exciting.

Not a bad intro track at all, let's see what develops. Definitely a Detroit sound.

Should have been a video. Songs ok. I like the energy but it's structure bugged me. Too rigid. He might be my favorite person on mne so far lol.

I thought it was a good song. Looking forward to more. I can hear a lot of east coast in his delivery which is dope. I've always loved east coast horror rap.

I personally find lex the hex guy boring. I can't imagine profound music to come from him in the future. Yes, he can rap. Yes, his vocals sound good but the content is lacking originality and leaves a lot to be desired. I Doubt monoxide knows talent as much as he says he does.

Mono is also a huge Caskey Fan, lex is alot like R.O.C.,there is talent there, but he just dosent say anything memorable

But I found Lex to be pretty refreshing.  No "chopper" raps.  The beat was pretty hard-hitting, and I love the actual storytelling cadence, where words matter.  Not just trying to get as many syllables in as possible.  Can't wait for this dude's album.

this makes me more interested in hearin it than anything else ive seen yet.  especially the 'words matter' and 'syllable' bits.

chopper shits pretty much played out, for me.  one of the things that bugs me about twiztids approach, lately.  makes em seem like some trend-following also-rans.

and the first sentence says lots.

Also LOL at MNE getting flagged by FCC for mass-texting "Bomb on Em" right after a terrorist attack.

life is timing.

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

I don't think his storytelling and concept was good whatsoever. Was pretty bland IMO. But then again, this is the dude's debut song, so I'm not expecting anything complex or in depth. Just lettin' everyone knows who he is. But if the whole album stays that way, then it's chalked..

I generally agree with that. I'm so over the chopper shit. It was cool when tech was doing it 15 years ago but like now everybody does it. Theres a few parts where Jamie Madrox raps fast on the new lotus and it completely takes me out of the songs because I can't keep up lol.

And yeah, his album definitely better have something more, some depth or something.

Lol, i didn't get a text. Come to think of it, I haven't gotten a message from the "MNE Fan Club" of whatever the fuck it's called since the night of the Freakshow show announcing the dude.

Thank Kanye I'm not the only one that thinks that.

I liked what I heard from him. Much better than ABK, so he should have a good career in theory.
