I can't get into this dude as of yet but admittedly I've only heard two songs. He sounds identical to every single opening act at a local show to me. Can someone post something of his (other than Ninja's, Green Mile and Bomb on Em) that might change my mind?

I thought the same thing, although, I could care less about technical ability, as long as it sounds cool then I'm good.

I mean, listen to I Fucked A Cop, it's not the most technical song, but it's cool as hell, love that song.

And some old school rap has some simple rhymes, but it still sounds cool as hell, that's why Lex The Hex Master is where it's at.

I think Lex Masters can spit (I will not call him Lex The Hex Master). I think he could be really dope. Can't really judge after 2 songs and a feature though. The one thing I don't like about him is that he really reminds me of The Warlock with his corny ass generic hip hop head dialogue. Though, he's still much much much much much much better than The Warlock. By the way, Lex Masters sounds like a wrestling name, not a porn name.

That's what i'm thinking(without the Warlock Part though cuz i don't know him). I think Lex the Hex Master could make a really dope Album when he has some Themes to rap about, he has technical abilitys and his Verses are sounding dope to me. I will wait for his 1st full Album to finaly judge him properly.

Everyone shit on hoodoo as well after two tracks because he didn't bring the lyrics, nor the character everyone was hoping for. Turns out everyone was right, and the entire album was shite. I have a strong suspicion that his debut EP will most likely follow suit.

I guarantee that when his album drops all of his subject matter will consist of "I'm so awesome, anyone who doesn't like me is jealous." Just like the 2 songs they released of his already.
As anyone who has the slightest understanding of how musicians and music labels work knows, they release singles to give the audience an idea of what the artist/album will be like; this is what will either get people interested (if they like what they hear) or let people know "this isn't worth my money." The latter being my point of view.
So far, the sample we have from this guy is "I'm so good at rapping! I drop bombs! Haters are just jealous, kuz their music sucks!"
Anyone who says Lex's gimmick is not a blatant rip-off of Hoodoo is in complete denial, but luckily his music doesn't follow his gimmick at all, so.

Totally fucking agree. There's a metric shit ton of potential for the character, but so far it's been a complete letdown.
