Are there still issues? I think it has to do with timing. Being the gathering, people hit the pages at lot waiting on news from here. At least that is my speculation.

Scottie told me there were a ton of DDOS attacks on the site the first day of the gathering. Its wack because he has to buy a new level of a firewall to keep them for happening. Fuck whoever is trying to spam the main site down just to be a dick.

The forum seems to be running a little better on my phone now too. Don’t know if someone did something or what but before it would take forever to load and then when I tried to do anything the screen would go white and take me back to my homescreen. The actual posts are all stretched vertical, like there’s a giant wall of black and the actual posts are at the bottom but it’s working and I can respond and browse without it crashing.

@ganjagoblin When you make a thread the topic titles are the same font as the box. It makes it impossible to see what your typing. Also new drop down menu for recently updated posts being transparent makes it hard as fuck to read when it gets super imposed over existing text.

It looks like it is fixed now. Since @ganjagoblin is making changes piece by piece, when you see an issue in the style of the site, give a few minutes because he may be in the process of working on it. BUT if it doesn’t seem to resolve in a few minutes, then post here and the issue will be addressed. There are so many dependent styles so that one “simple” change can affect another part of the site that was not expected.
@ocj_brendan , thanks for pointing out the transparent dropdown issue and invisible text issue. It’s resolved but the color of the stuff fixed may still change. It’s like painting a picture… one brush stroke at a time… and some things may be painted over a few times till it looks right.

@ganjagoblin the username has the same issue when you quote someone. For example you probably can’t see who quoted you in the thread when it gives you the notification up at the top of the screen.

Thanks to everyone for all of your help with this.
Yes, unfortunately i had to purchase a $200/month service through cloudflare.com. Needless to say, on top of regular server costs, that is a significant chunk of income. It has proven effective though because it shows to have already stopped over 4,000 threats since I implemented it. We’ll see if the fuckheads trying to take us down give up eventually.

just something else to note: when someone tags you, it’s not showing up due to the color scheme I assume. Here’s what I mean:
Also, i know the buttons show up when you hover over the “Add Reply”, “Add Topic”, etc, but it may be a good idea to put a border around them so they are more easily seen. Same with “Upload Attachments”, etc.

Hmm, I don’t know why that notification table should be all white, I changed that all around. Same for the drop down menu below it. I’m not sure why you guys are seeing that? Cause I changed all that.
I don’t have a screenshot of the notification table, but I’m seeing this. The notification table should also contain the gradient overlay.

The math question is to keep out most of the spam bots. Im on a Macbook pro ill try my PC in a bit.
Edit: The issue with the math question isn’t it being there…its that you can’t see the numbers you type…some ninjas will be SOL on that one…
