this is nothing but a distraction from the real issues. a sick man shoots up a church and people freek out over a flag? talk about misplaced anger. 

and why no outrage of the photos of him burning the american flag? there are circles on the internet (people who are anti confederate flag) who support burning the american flag. perhaps we should be just as outraged at that right?

Well i suppose if people can still follow the catholic church, who was responsible for more death (in the name of god), rape and general hatred than any other organization in history, a bunch of southerners following a flag that supported slavery and white supremacy is all well and good.

and i suppose if black people in the media can still call themselves slaves, following a flag that started that is fine too.

i just dont understand.

but then i dont understand why people follow religion, god is not in religion. he/she/it just is. i also don’t understand why black people cannot let ‘nigga’ die. why would you want it back.

different things have different meanings to different people. 

not ALL stereotypes are wrong. i’m sure that there are some good southerners. its in the numbers.

But what that flag represents…… is wrong. and yes, you could argue that every flag is essentially forged in blood, but not many quite as publicly and openly as the rebel flag.

you notice how no one follows the swastika in Germany any more?  (never mind the several thousand other religious cultures following a symbol of peace and power) because terrible things were done under that banner.

why would you associate yourself with the Hitler flag of america? Yep i just compared the rebel flag and the symbol of the one of the most notoriously evil men in history.
