I can literally hit my MPC X and within ten minutes shit all over you.
Damn you got the X???
What do you think of it? I have the 5000. I’ve been on MPC’s since the 1000 and that X is pure insanity.
I love it dude. Just the versatility of it being able to act as a standalone or how I can hook it up to my CPU and jump between the two platforms is amazing.
Also the updated screen on it is second to none homie.
Me and one of my patnas invested in it and it floats between his and my crib, but if you ever get the chance to pick one up, do that shit. Its obvious you take this rapping shit seriously and know your way around D.A.W’s and physicals, this is the perfect blend of both.

@ Lucem
So you got a whopping 1000 views on Sound cloud, wow, that’s pretty neat, kid.
We can start the pissing contest when you have 10k or more though. And that’s on my old mix tape shit, since I do not fuck with S.C. anymore. Also, let me know when somebody note worthy actually fucks with you, k.
People asking you for one of them beats, and people paying you, is two very totally different things.
Lol, out of spite.
Nah, your shit is to slow and monotone for my taste. Do you ever venture past 90bpm for any of your songs? Do you ever use any other kicks or snares other than the ones that came with your little CPU program (presets)? I even gave you a compliment and said you know how to master pretty good, was that out of spite?
You have people who have actually done hip hop in real life, and then you have people such as yourself who sit behind a CPU and have online rappers jump on their shit…for free.
If I’m wrong, correct me and tell what clubs you have performed at or what notable DJ has ever played any of your songs. You said Utah has a music scene, correct? Being as you have so many people hawking you for your beats, you simply must be involved in at least your local scene.
I called you a raciest because I’m from a predominately African American community, which you called “Primitive”. You can say it was the library thing, but we both know what you ment. So your a raciest hip hop producer, oh the irony.

I’ve always said that, that MPC needs software! and you can jump between both in the same session. And that screen is HUGE!!! I drooled over that for the first couple months it came out…. It’d take a lot for me to drop that 2k on it. I dig my 5000. Its either that or Reason 5, and a little FL. I truly find myself going over to the software side of production more than the hardware these days…

Never heard of you, so I don’t care. Bloodstepp and Joe Strange saying he likes my flow. Other than that I’ve never really put myself out there.

Yeah, people asking me to sell them beats. Like Novocaine.
Lol, out of spite.

Yes, kinda. When you misrepresent my views, and try to claim that a song that sounds nothing like Cage was stolen from Cage for using the same name title, it’s a spiteful opinion. Hell, I’ve realized that anybody who has ever stood up for Warlock’s music has always done it out of spite. When you say 90 BPM that really depends if you’re talking double time or not. Cause I don’t use double time. If you’re a double time producer that’d be 45 BPM to me I’ve never made any that slow. If you’re talking about my horrible trap shit, yeah, those are slower beats because Trap uses a 70ish BPM (140 if you’re double time). But most hip hop is around 90 BPM on average not going much higher than 100 so that is a mute and spiteful point. Perhaps just an uneducated one as well. Oh, and nobody buys your stupid spite driven accusation of me using ‘presets’ I’ve gotten some fairly decent VSTs over the years. Even then, if you’re a good producer you can do some amazing things with those presets. You probably wouldn’t know anything about that.
You have people who have actually done hip hop in real life, and then you have people such as yourself who sit behind a CPU and have online rappers jump on their shit…for free.
You are very misinformed. But I guess when you’re desperate for validation you will jump to these kinds of conclusions.
If I’m wrong, correct me and tell what clubs you have performed at or what notable DJ has ever played any of your songs. You said Utah has a music scene, correct? Being as you have so many people hawking you for your beats, you simply must be involved in at least your local scene.
Zero and I’ve also made zero attempts at doing so. I’m sure if I actually made the effort it could happen. But I don’t.
I called you a raciest because I’m from a predominately African American community, which you called “Primitive”. You can say it was the library thing, but we both know what you ment. So your a raciest hip hop producer, oh the irony.
That is completely desperate. Nice try though. It’s spelled ‘racist’ by the way. I don’t even know that racial demographic of New Orleans. I just know that the fact that our city is much more technologically advanced than yours so it’s ironic that you tried to paint us as village based on Mormon stereotypes.

That’s because hardware is extremely limiting. Unless you have the money it’s almost a waste. It’s most useful for live sessions than actual programming. Unless you strongly prefer the feel to a drum machine.

The thing I find most ironic about these stupid arguments is that by default you are clearly stating that mumble rappers are better than you since they have accomplished much more than you ever have. Unless you want to apply a double standard to it. So accolades and success means nothing unless it’s convenient to you. Then again, I don’t expect any actual deep thought or self awareness or intelligence from somebody that couldn’t spell ‘racist’ properly. Fucking ‘raciest’ OMG.
For the record, I also can’t respect somebody to be passionate about music when you spend more time taking advantage of an opportunity to trash people and simultaneously stroke your own ego, desperately might I add, instead of actually talking about music. No discussion on the hip hop I posted. No logical or thoughtful or deep or passionate discussion on the culture. Just taking another opportunity to stroke your own very limited and closed taste in hip hop. So really you turned what could have been a great thread about something we all love into a discussion about yourself and your bruised ego. Thus initially proving my original point that set you off in the first place. You’re desperate for feeling validated. Which, initially there is nothing wrong with. Everybody likes validation. But you are just way too desperate for it. That’s why your opinion is spiteful. That’s why you’re neglecting your daughter to prove yourself here. That’s why you’ve convinced yourself there’s a group that sticks together that is against you. (not completely wrong, though, there is a definite and undeniable favoritism and a sense of pretentiousness from the Scruffy & friends) Now, originally this was fun because you’re kinda funny. But this is getting tedious and redundant and taking too much of my time. Take that as a win if you want.

Yea, way to long, didn’t read any of that.
Moving on…

I would strongly suggest you go and look at the videos for the MPC X, and see how its unique and differs from other drum machines. You have no idea what your talking about at this point.
And yes, using presets is a fucking cardinal sin if you are a producer. Shut the fuck up, don’t want to read any of your excuses for doing so.
Also, stop running off at the mouth about knowing what “The Culture” is homie. You have no black people in your state, poser.

eh I wouldn’t say cardinal sin, rather a decent starting point. Shoot, the vocal EQ presets in Pro Tools are damn near spot on! lol
And there’s nothing wrong with using stock drum loops either, you’ll just need to know your way around an EQ haha
That MPC X makes me wanna cry all while peeing my panties. Pure beast mode that thing is.

I think what I like most about rap music is the elasticity of it. I like that it’s core is malleable and open to manipulation. It’s much broader than other genres of music, much more flexible. Other genres seem too stuck on what they were in the 70s or 80s. Not a lot of change or experimentation.
Rap can simultaneously be mumble shit, nerd shit, noise shit, wicked shit, pop shit, gangsta shit, and so much more. And some artists run through the categories like it’s nothing.
You don’t get that with general pop/rock.
If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter
