Juggalos are always so sensitive. Dry your eyes and grow a pair.
-sniff-… I try to stop crying, but I cannot….
Anyway, I was just fucking with you, mayn. Grow another set, then you’ll have quad nuts. Big baller.
Mainly, I am not arguing with you about what is real and not real. I made one comment about radio rap that I did not divulge any farther, and you went psychotic with it. I have not disagreed about what is and isnt real rap.
Then I lay out a well-known quote/chorus by KRS-ONE for simple humor, and you go ballistic.
Also, you aren’t telling me anything that I dont know.
Rap has always been the music of the downtrodden. As ABK put it: “Poor Man’s Therapy”. I’ve always liked that…. now your salty Utah hair will be ruffled because I used an ABK quote instead of Kanye, because the mere mention of anything Juggalo sends you into a frenzy.
You also seemed to assume that I didnt consider Twiztid real rap. Never said that either.
Truth is, you have a lot you fill in and assume when it comes to me. I typically tried to avoid you on this forum, as you come across as the kind of person that starts laughing during a funeral. Enough of you.
Back to the subject… being a pretentious cat from NY, I have recently come to reminisce about the style of life we lived there, a style that I didnt even realize at the time.
We were 4 hours from NYC, but the culture permeated the cities upstate as well. It seemed like everybody had little breakdance squads, for instance. And everyone in school, everyone fucking knew every Wu-Tang lyric. If you didn’t know Wu, you were an alien. Shit, you may as well have been from Salt Lake City, Utah!
Everyone tagged shit. Many of our old graffiti tags are still there, scattered across cities. My Homer Simpson etching was still down by the fishing hole, the last I checked a few years back.
Graffiti, breakdance, beats and rhymes.
oh, because you lived near NYC you think you’re more hip-hop!?!?!? Those same things, dancing and grad and music happened literally EVERYWHERE else as well! You can see it in the current styles of Lil Coochy Perm, Sour Squish, H8Rape7$$, Lil Puppy Flay and maybe, MAYBE even Dump CashX45XQ !!! One time I was making this wicked non-Juggalo track in Uta-“
Whoa, sorry, there was a maggot in my ear. How embarassing… -flick-
Ahem.. back to hip-hop and rap. Yep, never was elitist about it, despite how other people twist it and create their own arguments with me on here.
Was that a subliminal diss?
I’ve never considered or even called any musician “fake”. Even boy band singers aren’t fake. Using autotune isnt fake. Someone writing your lyrics isnt fake. Milli Vanilli is probably the only thing “fake” I can attempt to label, but who am I? I may not make desperately bad rap like some people, but I am a human fucking being and i have lived a full, varied life. And I deserve an opinion like any other.
At my dispensary, the budtenders all share the TV behind us and play music off YouTube on there for customer ambience. We play lots of lo-fi beats usually, like those ones with Simpsons videos looped on em… but also we play lots of our own music. I never play wicked shit, because I dont want to offend anyone and also because THATS MY SHIT, BITCHES! But the younger tenders play a lot of this new stuff that my homie Lucem mentioned. . . I’ve heard many hours of it all by now. Some of it I like, some I don’t, just like regular people. It may not all appeal to me, but I respect it and it doesnt come close to offending my eardrums like I would imagine some polka would. But hey, maybe there is some dope polka out there. I’m ready for that, lol….. anyway, I dont catch much storytelling or substance on a lot of it, so that must be what keeps me uninterested. Maybe I’m wrong… but I love to play some Tribe, Sonic Sum, RZA instrumentals, taped concerts from Red Rocks, some reggae like U-Roy, Led Zeppelin… the only thing I play that scares the other tenders is metal. They have requested I not play it, so I usually dont. I played Pig Destroyer one morning to wake everyone up, that was fun.

You’re a pretty cool dude for a juggalo, OMD. But you really should have quoted Kanye over one of the worst rappers to ever come from juggalo culture.
I just like pissing off pretentious hip hop heads with facts. I’d also argue that ICP are more hip hop than the back packers too.

I have gone on record on this site and in person saying “I think ICP are some of realest people in the game”. I clearly recall talking to my older brother about it. Their hard work, struggle, creativity, and the respect they pay to the culture is way more in depth than people realize. Them booking old school rappers for Gatherings is something I’ll always dig. Coolio, Slick Rick, Kool Keith, MC Hammer. Good stuff.
Icp is indeed, real rap. And hip-hop. That old Spin magazine comic where the pieces of shit compared them to minstrel shows is so fucking infuriatingly wrong that I could cook their family pets. But, that’s how we are viewed…. and the pet-eating probably doesnt help to bolster that image, but here we are.

im self-aware enough to know my music isnt for the masses, like pop music..
im a niche & that’s cool with me..
Go for yours kid. At least you can semi-rap and have potential, unlike Lucy furs shit, “I hate errrrrrrry ooooooooone….” Lol, wow is that shit Garbage. At least your vocals sound like you fully made it through puberty, unlike Lucy the self hating juggalo. Got a pic of the flamer god lil B. Itch and gonna knock ICP and Twiztid, lol. Keep grinding homie, success is the best revenge.
Bayareasheman can not really critique anybody, because the dude does not rap. So unless he gots a track somewhere he should clammer the fuck up and keep making egg rolls. Busta.
You don’t know how shit works around here?
These pack of roaming rabid bitches can’t really defend themselves individually, thus, they move forward together connected at the ass to gang up on peeps. Its sad really.
Do you warlock, fuck what these nobodies think homie.

Nobody trying to hear those simple ass arrangements made with them wackass generic pre-sets.
Foh.
It is better than your old shit, because your pubescent voice is not layered on top of it. I’m sure your parents thought it was really cool, Lucy.

Nah, not really Sherman. Honestly, I didn’t even remember you saying that.
I just don’t like you or the company you keep.
