I though it just stripped you of your human qualities and brought you back to the level of pure instinct? I consider them zombies, just not in the traditional sense. If you google “zombie derivation” you get “a soulless body”. All semantics really. I thought it was a little more plausible than the dead coming back to life.

i used to be a real traditional zombie nazi (lol dead snow – german zombie flick about zombie nazi’s), but 28 days later just doesnt really play into anything of zombie except the need to ‘feed’.
read world warz adn teh zombie survival guide, they are awesome books.

Fixed. I read zombie survival guide and it was annoyingly over-the-top talking about it like it’s already happened “research shows” and such. World War Z is bout to be a good ass movie though. And as for 28 days/weeks, no pain, eat other ppl, no memories of former selves, driven by instinct, virus transmits through bodily fluid.

pfft the survival guide was just that, a survival guide. and world war z was a awesome fucking book, best mocumentry ive ever read. i reckon they are gunna fuck the movie up, but thats me hahah.
as for 28 days/weeks later, you can see they have cognitive brain function. thats what seperates zombies from infected people (no they are not the same). there is a big distinction, and also how does something dead going through the process of decomposition run at a dead bolt? they cant and thats final.
