I spend too much of my life watching TV. My current favorite shows are Game of Thrones, Vikings and Black Sails, Although there are many other shows I enjoy such as Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland show. Oddly enough my wifes taste in shows is almost a complete 180 as she prefers Keeping up with the Kardashians and other forms of train wreck reality TV.

However one channel we both like to watch is Animal Planet. When the shows are actually about animals which is not that often lately.  

lol I watched basically no tv until I recently got a netflix account and watched a whole tv show (like 6 seasons) in 2 weeks.  Thankfully I haven’t found anything else worth watching on netflix, so that solves that problem :)

Yeah it is actually a terrible habit for me. I have 9 artificial discs in my back and it is hard to stay active sometimes but my life choices don’t help much. I mean I am not OMG obese but I am a little fluffy.

But damn some shows are good lol.

I’m curious why you said a few pages back that you think you’re a “black sheep” with politics and religion. I didn’t read the whole thread so if you addressed this, ignore me. But like, I think most people here are probably somewhere in the middle on social issues in general but maybe not as far as I am. And then you got a few who are libertarian and conservative. Basically, theres no political view here that there isn’t -someone- who shares your views.

And with religion, we got atheists, satanists, pagans, agnostics, christians, at least one muslim, and probably a few people who are something else all together. 

I find politics and religion to be really interesting, especially when people can intelligently explain their world view. My art is basically rooted in this idea that we all create mythological systems in our heads that differ from the things we claim to believe in. Example, if you ask any christian why adam and eve were kicked out of the garden of eden, they’ll tell you “as punishment for disobeying god” but if you read the bible it’s actually because god is like “oh shit, they ate from the tree I told them not to eat from, if they eat from that other tree, they’ll become gods in their own right and then I’m fucked.”
