The science museum is tits. Pretty interesting if you are into paleontology, geology, anthropology or the history of Colorado. It’s right next to the Zoo, which is really good but I’m not sure how it ranks next to STL. It’s been on a few best zoo lists, has some rad exhibits…. but… the admission went up a few years ago to $17 for adults. Kinda steep in my opinion.

Denver Zoo, Natural History Museum, Saturday Night Live, Smiley’s, Wax Trax, Twist and Shout, Bowman’s, Govinda’s, Sanchos Broken Arrow, Press Play, 1Up, Lions Lair… So many hot spots.

Been to The Zoo, The Aquarium a couple weeks ago… Butterfly Pavilion… 1up… Rockies several times… that dope Cherry store on route 34 on the way to Estes Park.

Gonna peep that Science Museum next.

Colorado is beautiful. Upstate NY is just as beautiful and actually has many similar points of interest without the desert areas. I’ll be visiting therr again at the end of June.

Butterfly Pavilion is so fresh. I need to get on some serious drugs and get back up in there. I’m all over Route 34, great drive. Estes is a jewel… a tourist trap, but so bad ass.

Upstate does have some great spots. A lot of butt-ugly ones too. But yeah for sure the laid back vibe of the Finger Lakes is reminiscent of Boulder County… and vise versa.

Love the BP. Estes, too. We’ve been staying at the KOA Kabins the past couple Septembers, to kind of say goodbye to summer.

I heard the mountainous parts of 34 are closed off all summer for construction? You heard about this?

I’m in the “butt ugly” part of CO. Have you been through Fort Morgan lately? I hate that damn sugar factory; it smells up the entire town and even our dispensary in Log Lane.

Crazy double murder here recently. They foujd a young girl and guy in a car in the river. Her teeth were all pulled out and his leg was removed and they were weighed down with cement or something. Turns out it was two 17 year old punks. They went around bragging about it.

…. I’ll be visiting upstate end of June, can’t wait. Some of my favorite spots are Watkins Glen gorge, Ithaca commons, Cowanesque Lake near PA… used to drive FedEx trucks up Seneca and Keuka Lakes, aka “the scenic route”.

Elmira, NY now has the biggest opioid overdoses in the country. That’s where my homie just died from the Fentanyl poisoning.

Pudgies Pizza, bitch.

Just type in “Elmira ny” into Google then click the “News” tab. May has been an especially wack month. Multuple shootings and stabbings, multiple Fentanyl fatalities, candy Xanax and Heroin being sold… wack times.

Oh man I have to admit I have no idea where Fort Morgan is. Is that on the eastern plains? I don’t really ever venture east of I-25 unless I am in Denver metro.

Its on the eastern plains, indeed. Town of only like 12,000 people. Okay place, a bit arid for me but it’s fine. There was a savage double murder a couple months ago. 17 year Olds killed this girl and guy. Pulled her teeth out, cut off his leg, bodies found in the water.

Other than that, it’s worth seeing for the dispensaries. They also have a lack a out 20 minutes down the highway called Jackson but to me it’s quite stale. I can see how these landlocked folken love it but as you know, NY has so much water it’s crazy. I even had a pond right by our house that is bigger than the lake on the east side of Denver. But it’s all good.

So it turns out that my dad is coming to visit me for the first time ever out in Colorado this next weekend. He has never been this far west and happened to schedule his stay for the first couple of days in Denver for…

4/20 !

So although I’ve been to Denver maybe 20 times or more, and an aware of all the big shows and events for the holiday… do any of yall locals know of any decent dive-type bars for old heads like my pops? He is pretty wild but more comfy in joints like rock n roll bars and shit like that. I read that due to Denver gentrification that the whole place is basically overcome with hipster-types and that is NOT GOOD for me lol. Those are the kind of people I just cannot seem to meld with. Any help would be awesome.

And, as usual… if anyone is available and willing to hang, get at a killa!
