So yo yo yo yo yo… my old scool homie is visiting us in Colorado this weekend… I’ve only been to Denver like five times, mostly for day trips.. family-oriented… but thus Friday I will likely hit up the streets of Denver for some recreational fun.. anyone know of any good places to chill? Pubs, shows, down low chill spots? I never get out so I want to make this one memorable

That’s what i want to do, the wife and I want to vacation in Denver and just smoke HUGE SNAKE DABS! haha I still cannot believe that you can just go into a legal weed store and buy anything you want! *mouth watering* I’d spend so much money on wanting to try everything from all the concentrates, kush, and all the fuckin editable’s. I’m talking about seeing Jesus high.

Ya its ok, nothin spectacular, nothin shitty. I had a good time on that strip, but watch out 4 da bus/train things. I love the bums in colorado, they play music and put on entertaining shows. I didnt get asked once 4 any money. The stores are all mostly touristy, i got some colorado weed shirts there. I didnt go to any bar or food place but i can bet, just like every main downtown city they can b hit or miss. Id peep out google reviews and menus to give u better odds.

And yes, I can’t quite believe it myself either. “You mean to say I can walk into this store, buy some marijuana, take it home, smoke it, AND IT’S TOTALLY LEGAL?!! Pfffffft! You’re pulling my le- get the fuck outta here with your crazy talk!” LOL
I do realize it will be legal everywhere at some point eventually. It’s just sitting here in a state that is too ass backwards to realize the profit that could be made on it while other states already have, is a little frustrating.

my hunch is that iowa will take it seriously before mizzo will. if there was a pool, it put money on missouri bein the 40th state to legalize.

I agree, lots of meth in Iowa. My dad’s still all geeked out. I’m from council bluffs, 86 what part u from.
I was born in Waterloo. But I moved around so much growing up, I’m actually “from” all over Iowa. Waverly, Shell Rock, Plainfield, Holland, back to Waterloo for 10 years and recently just moved here to Southern Iowa to help my mom out with her daily life. That, and because Waterloo as of late has had a spike in shootings and violent crime. Meth is frickin rampant there. I swear to god it’s one of the saddest things ever, seeing just how badly people destroy themselves on that shit.
I go to Des Moines often to catch a WWE show, or to see ICP in concert. Des Moines is pretty much the most interesting place here, the only place ICP is known to do a show. I still want to visit Villisca, go tour the famous 1912 Axe Murder House. As an Iowan, I feel like it’s an important milestone to have. If you can scrape up 500 bucks, you can actually spend the night in that house!
But if I were to save up 500 bucks, I’d use that to finally get to a Gathering. But either way, I will visit Villisca one of these days. @split1open

I dunno about doing much jn Denver now. That day is 100% chance of rain. Cold rain. Actually, as is the usual cosmic joke of my very few days ofof of work history, the four days my homie is here are the only days where it will be rain and snow. Literally the days before and after are warm and sunny. This has never not happened lol. First world problems, I know, but fuck man.
And I don’t believe weed will be legal in every state. If we are fortunate enough, it will be decriminalization on the federal level. Which means you can’t get in trouble for having it, growing it, etc. That’s our best hope. But then it will be down to state’s rights, and I cannot ever EVER see states like Georgia, North Carolina, Utah and Mississippi legalizing. If they did, it will come down to counties rights, which should be decided by the resident’s votes, but rarely is.
Example: weed dispensaries are legal in Colorado, BUT..
My shop is in Log Lane Village. Literally a trailer park across the highway from Fort Morgan. Fort Morgan voted against it. So no shops are legally allowed there.
Same with Garden City right next to Greeley. And many municipalities around Denver and into the mountains.
Maybe it’s better that way. Let’s you be able to scope where the ignorant live and where the decent live.
