Black people do profile themselves. It’s not a self loathing uncle ruckus thing, it’s a preconditioned perception of the black community embedded into American culture. I doubt any of these cops walked out thinking, “I can’t wait to harass me some negros today” I just think that they have these ideas of how a criminal looks and a lot of those ideas depict black people.
And it’s not a finger pointing game, it’s show casing a cultural problem in America.
And again, crime rate is relative to how many people get caught. If you are black you are more likely to be suspect of being a criminal and if you are more suspect than you are more likely to get caught or just charged. That’s probably why those specific people don’t get bothered, they don’t look suspect to the cops. Can’t tell me that does not exist, when social experiments have proven our prejudices towards people. Like how people are more likely to give to a rich business man than a homeless man.
Nobody pointed any fingers, I never blamed the whole white race for the few white cops and Mexican night watch that get away with murdering black people. Just pointed out that it’s white cops killing black people in a country with a history of white people killing black people. Once we can all understand that perspective then we can all move forward to fixing a problem with American culture. The blame is on the whole entire country.
There is a lot more to the education problem then just paying for it, too. I also personally know people in school with scholarships that are still having a hard time financially with school.
More importantly I also saw a glance at the native american murder rate with cops and holy fuck.

In my opinion part of the problems minorities have with crime rates is how they are raised JUST as much as profiling. But what do I know. I only worked with minorities and under privileged kids my whole professional life so far.The mindset in many impoverished and minority strong communities is to just “give up”. The welfare statistics show it.
38.8% of all welfare recipients are white (Actually a low number considering the population of whites in America)
39.8% are Black (Considering blacks make up 13% of the population this is a lot)
15.7% are Hispanic (Not sure what I think about this number many light skinned Hispanics identify as white very often on their tax forms from what I have seen when my wife does peoples taxes so this number may be off)
2.4% are Asian
3.3% Identify as other minorities
This is only the tip of the iceberg of problems minorities face. The culture needs to change. A HUGE part of it is the way they are
brought up.
As for crimes, once again the culture. The way they are brought up contributes to the issues. Now of course many would get off or a slap on the wrist if they could afford decent lawyers but that is not the reality for impoverished minorities.
However I think it goes deeper then just that. I think these newer generations of all races have a HUGE respect issue.
I want to see an Asian dude collecting a Welfare check, that would be dope.

Realness is a perspective issue. If you disagree with or don’t connect with someones art it doesn’t mean it is less “real” and just because you do agree with or connect with someones art doesn’t mean it’s more “real”.
That said, some of the “realest” I know of are:

If that one requires too much effort:

^^^this is her basically repeating comments have left to her with a little bit of white savior thrown in at the end
^^^a video she got in a shit ton of trouble for. She wanted to show what it’s like in sri lanka but used white / americans instead. People thought a video where a bunch of red headed white kids get murdered by the government was a little too much to watch and it was blocked from various video outlets.
^^^^a song about immigration using the children of people who crossed into a different country without papers. Also, a soccer team got mad at her because she used their logo to mock the owners of the logo who are directly responsible for the influx of immigration (they take part in the exploitation of natural resources in foreign countries).
^^^ two videos that defined a project she wanted to create but her label put a stop to it because of “cultural appropriation”. The first is a song that she made while she was at a temple and she heard some weird sounds outside so she found the source and it was girls playing with swords and dancing. She thought it was really cool and she recorded a short video, went home and made the song, then went back and made a music video for it. The second one is a video she shot of a guy dancing to her song warriors (off a previous album). The concept for the album her label rejected was she was going to go to different parts of the world and record stuff she finds interesting, make quick little music videos for them on her iphone and then make the songs out of the sounds she captures in the video she takes.

^^^^if you liked found you might like this kinda track too
she also has more poppy songs like bad girls and paper planes which i don’t fux with but she’s cool as shit and really real

I plan on releasing more “real” music in the future.. this one’s a reply to all the hate I got for my last two songs:
My next vid will be about my childhood growing up and how it was tough but just keep doing your thing man music is a way of communication – it’s always real in my opinion but I kno what you mean about real, we often get lost in delusion

there hasnt been much realness to speak of in music since they started recording it, and mass producing copies for everybody. after that, it just gotten faker and faker.
listening to a needle drag across a row of bumps isnt real.
and then radio? letting electricity do all the work? yeesh.
didnt stop there, either. no, they had to electrify the instruments, too.
‘look at me, im making the electrons in this wire wiggle, but since my so-called instrument is shaped like a guitar, i think it counts as real music!’
so fake.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

People probably said the same things about inventions like the printing press. Maybe what’s real can transcend one-on-one experiences, and the poetry of good ideas can be preserved on vinyl, canvas, hard drives, etc. I’m glad books exist to show us procedures to extend human life (equipment sterilization, nutrition, etc.) and find some of their messages just as real as any hug, protest, or bong hit.
