My advice would be to take the ASVAB first and see what jobs skills any branch of service can offer you (don't go to reserves or national guard till after your first enlistment).
if you don't care what job you want to do and want to just serve (be careful because you're stuck with that job until your enlistment is up). Check out your options. NAVY travels a lot if you're not shore bound. Air Force has the best accommodations. Marines will give you a sense of pride that no one could ever take away from you. Army it's kinda like marines, but slightly less intense (basic training).
But everything depends on your ASVAB scores and what job you choose. You can choose, easy or a hard job skill. What were you looking to do in the service?
