I’m sorry @nyro . None of this was aimed at you. I just wanted my profile erased. But @scruffy has denied it to me (even though that’s not his decision to make). And on top of all that, everyone keeps calling me a racist, @noah-fence  which I most definitely am not. Did they take the time to consider how I feel about that? Nope. This is the mindset that leads to negativity, I guess. As far as I remember I enjoyed reading your posts, until you started your spamwar. Sad how this thread turned out, even though I’m not involved.

Nyro, to your first post: great initiative!

Thats what I always do when i aint having fun here. Just take a break for a few weeks or months. Come back and pick up where you left off.

I found myself getting too heated and took a few years off. Just lurked the news and stayed off the forum. It’s good to clear your head sometimes. Still, keep your account because who knows? Either that or step up your shitposting game. I admit you got a few laughs out of me. You have talent. With a little hard work you could be the best.

If you are worried about your money not going to where you want why donate to WWF? They are a charitable trust format and charitable trusts are the worst about spending extravagant money on balls,  banquets and stuff to try and raise money as well as give backs to major donors like free stuff.

As far as religion I must admit I am biased.  My religion is a huge reason why I am so charitable.  I think as humans we are naturally greedy and selfish.  So there are always motives for our charity mine are my faith and my rough childhood.

Lol. Anyway. To the point of the thread.

I think a major problem is a lack of sex ed. Kids don’t know how to protect themselves, don’t know how to procure abortions, and such, don’t understand their sexual orientations or gender identities, and so forth which is why I volunteer as a sex ed teacher in a program that uses the most thoughtful and respectful curriculum out there. We build healthy kids who know shit about sex and they magically don’t grow up to be pregnant teens. It’s life changing for the queer kids too, too know that they aren’t broken or whatever. How many little gay and trans kids I have helped understand who they are simply by providing accurate info is amazing. And alarming. 

As for donations, mine go to planned parenthood, the aclu, my church, the Christian homeless shelter in town which doesn’t kick out gay teens (as opposed to some of the others), antifa groups, an immigrants rights campaign, and the prison library project. 

I also do various volunteering when I can. Basically whatever is needed at that moment.

Yeah, the church that runs this homeless shelter is Methodist I think. I’m not much in to theology but the people are nice.
