That "stereo-type" that's been "jammed in my head" is from the personal experience of every black person I've ever met, including my closest black friends, thinking every white person is a racist or at the least out to put them down in some way shape or form. the most racist people i've ever met have been black. and my opinion is no more racist than the idea that a white man shooting a black man dead in self defense is a racially motivated happening.

I completely agree with you on that. But talking about it doesn't change the past. It needs to be let go, we can't move forward if we dwell on what is essentially ancient history.

It's not ancient history, it still goes on. Just like the 15% blacks making up 40% of our jails.

Also, as for the blacks in jail, also ask yourself the crime rate amongst blacks vs whites. statistics are a motherfucker. The system isnt perfect by any means, but it does on occasion make the right call. This was one of them.

I have not once heard of him being white, every where I heard people calling him hispanic.
No shit the crime rate in statistics are going to be higher if 1/3 of black people wind up in jail. My point is that black people get put in jail and caught more often because they get stereotyped.

LBT, you have a respectable reason not to believe it wasn't racially motivated, like I stated before I don't really know if Zimmerman did it because he was black. Yeah, I'll admit that I did not follow the case but that's why I even debate, find out what I don't know and perhaps change my view. I believe the ruling was racially motivated simply because of Melissa Alexander. Why did she get 20 years and not Zimmerman? Regardless of race I don't think taking that kid's life was right. If dude would have just let the police handle it perhaps Treyvon would still be alive.
