Whenever it comes to Psychopathic Records, a lot of artists have come and gone over the years. There has been a lot of speculation and debate about the state of the label for years now. So I decided, what better time than now to come correct with a full breakdown to clear up any confusion. So here it is, Juggalos: Faygoluvers’ full breakdown and analysis of what is and has been going down with Psychopathic Records.
The truth of the matter is, aside from the supergroup, 3 Headed Monster (3HM), consisting of Insane Clown Posse, Esham, and Ouija Macc, Psychopathic Records’ last release from an artist outside of ICP was Ouija Macc’s debut full-length album, Gutterwatter, which was all the way back in 2018. That was 7 years ago! Since then, Psychopathic Records has more or less given its affiliates the cosign to slap a Hatchetman logo on their releases.
If you visit the rarely updated PsychopathicRecords.com, you will notice that the roster simply shows Insane Clown Posse and Ouija Macc, with Ouija Macc’s bio having not been updated since around the time of the release of Gutterwatter. But the reality of the situation is that there are far more affiliated artists than that. So here is the breakdown.
PSYCHOPATHIC RECORDS
-Insane Clown Posse-

Insane Clown Posse is, of course, the heart and soul of Psychopathic Records. The label was founded in 1991 by Joseph “Violent J” Bruce and Joseph “Shaggy 2 Dope” Utsler, alongside their original manager, Alex “Axe” Abbiss. The label was created to bring their music to the masses, a necessity driven by the group’s fiercely independent spirit.
While the group (then known as Inner City Posse) had released crude, self-produced cassette tapes from their basement, their first official, professionally recorded release on the new label was the EP, Dog Beats, released in February 1991. The success of that initial release led directly to the group changing their name to Insane Clown Posse and releasing their full-length debut, Carnival of Carnage, in 1992.
From the beginning, Psychopathic Records was built as a fiercely independent house for the “Wicked Shit”—a movement and culture that existed outside of the mainstream music industry. The goal wasn’t just to release records, but to build a self-sustaining business and operational structure around their music. This music quickly became the foundation for the organic emergence of the Juggalo subculture—a community and family that grew naturally out of the fan base. This dedication to independence and the community is the central philosophy that guides the label and its affiliates to this day.
They set the tone for everything that would follow: the signature wicked shit rap style and the absolute loyalty to the Juggalo fan base. ICP is more than just the headlining act; they are the chief executives, the creative directors, and the final word on who becomes part of the wider Psychopathic family.
-Ouija Macc-

Ouija Macc is currently the most active non-ICP artist on the Psychopathic roster. Hailing from Las Vegas, he was signed in 2017 and quickly became a major figure, embodying the label’s newest generation of Wicked Shit.
The significance of Ouija Macc’s run with the label cannot be overstated: his 2018 debut full-length album, Gutterwater, established his status as a main-roster priority and signaled the label’s continued focus on the current sound of the subculture.
While he remains a core part of the Psychopathic umbrella, he also operates his own independent affiliate label, Chapter 17 Records (more on that later), which handles all of his solo projects and collaborations. This arrangement is a common model for current Psychopathic affiliates, allowing the label to provide support and the Hatchetman co-sign while empowering Ouija Macc to run his own successful, independent entity.
-Dj Clay-

DJ Clay is the label’s veteran workhorse and official DJ. He is a key fixture and core affiliate of the label. Clay’s history with the company stretches back to the mid-2000s, where he was heavily involved with the short-lived Hatchet House sub-label.
Clay serves as the primary touring DJ for Insane Clown Posse.
He releases his solo music under his own label, A.R. Ent (Armed Robbery Entertainment) (more on that later). This perfectly illustrates the definition of a core Psychopathic Affiliate: he is an essential part of the current business and musical operations, but his solo releases are handled independently, following the modern model of the label’s support system.
-Wakko The Kidd-

Wakko The Kidd is the most recent artist to be officially signed to the Psychopathic roster, with his addition announced personally by Violent J in the summer of 2024. Wakko represents a modern fusion of his unique, trap-infused style with a touch of that Wicked Shit.
His relationship with the label was initially rooted in business—specifically, his cannabis brand, Airheadz, which led to the creation of multiple co-branded weed strains with ICP. This business connection paved the way for his signing and the subsequent recording of his Psychopathic Records debut album, In Airheadz We Trust, which features appearances from Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, and Ouija Macc.
PSYCHOPATHIC RECORDS PRODUCERS:
-Devereaux-

Devereaux is a central producer of the current Psychopathic Records sound.
Devereaux first collaborated with the Psychopathic umbrella in 2018, working heavily on Ouija Macc’s debut, Gutterwater. Since then, he has cemented his status as a key in-house producer for the label, defining the distinct, modern, trap-infused style of the current Wicked Shit movement.
His work is officially featured on major Psychopathic releases, including multiple tracks on Insane Clown Posse’s Yum Yum Bedlam (2021) and the track “I’m Still Breathin'” on their latest Joker’s Card album, The Naught (2025).
-Shaggytheairhead-

Shaggytheairhead is a multi-talented artist operating as both an in-house producer and a solo rapper for the Psychopathic umbrella. Shaggytheairhead first entered the Psychopathic universe around 2018 through collaborations with Ouija Macc and later contributed to Insane Clown Posse’s Yum Yum Bedlam on multiple tracks, including “Clown Drippin'” and “Fuck Regret.” He and Devereaux form the production collective Mythic Mindz, and together they are key architects of the label’s distinct, modern, trap-infused sound. Beyond production, Shaggytheairhead is an active recording artist, with solo projects including the album LAZY and CRAZY vol. 1 and the EP SECRET WORLD – EP. He is also the owner of LAZY and CRAZY.(more on that later)
-KUMA-

KUMA (also known as Brian Kuma or Akuma) is one of the longest-serving in-house producers for Psychopathic Records, having joined the label around 2001. He initially assisted with the production of Anybody Killa’s debut, Hatchet Warrior, and has since worked in numerous capacities with core artists, including Insane Clown Posse, Big Hoodoo, and Jumpsteady. Kuma is highly valued for his adaptability, contributing to a wide range of tracks from original material like “Here Comes the Carnival” on ICP’s Yum Yum Bedlam to his extensive work creating remixes for classic albums like The Wraith: Shangri-La. Beyond music production, Kuma is a core part of Psychopathic Video, having directed and edited videos such as Big Hoodoo’s “HEXED” and ICP’s “Ain’t No Time.”
-Mike E Clark-

Mike E. Clark is widely regarded as the most essential and legendary producer in the history of Psychopathic Records, often credited with defining the label’s “wicked shit” sound. His partnership with Insane Clown Posse began when he produced their first album, Carnival of Carnage (1992), establishing a unique style rooted in dark themes and hip-hop. Clark’s signature fusion—blending classic hip-hop techniques, sampling, and scratching with heavy rock and metal elements—was later refined on major ICP albums throughout the years, beginning with the transition on their early Joker’s Cards and becoming fully realized on albums like The Great Milenko (1997) and The Amazing Jeckel Brothers (1999). He also produced albums like Bang! Pow! Boom! (2009) and The Mighty Death Pop! (2012). His long-running, if sometimes intermittent, association with the group continues, as he contributed production (specifically the track “Watch Me”) to their most recent album, The Naught (2025). Within the label, Clark’s influence extended to other artists, having produced material for Twiztid, Dark Lotus, and Boondox.
AFFILIATE LABELS/BRANDS:
-Chapter 17-

Chapter 17 Records is an independent record label founded and headed by Ouija Macc. The name is a direct reference to Violent J’s autobiography, Behind the Paint, which ends at Chapter 16, signifying that the Juggalos are Chapter 17. Functioning as a closely associated imprint or sub-label of Psychopathic Records, the roster features Ouija Macc, Darby O’Trill, and DJ Chunk (who is Ouija Macc’s DJ and also releases music with the label), with production often handled by ShaggyTheAirhead and Devereaux.
-A.R. ENT-

A.R. ENT (Armed Robbery Entertainment) is an independent record label headed by artist DJ Clay. The label was founded by Clay and released The W-E-R-O-B-U Mixtape, Vol. 1 in 2007 (the year of his signing with Psychopathic Records’ sub-label, Hatchet House). The current roster features DJ Clay, Bailz, and Tierre Diaz, the latter of whom also contributes to the Psychopathic ecosystem by editing segments of The Shaggy Show for Shaggy 2 Dope.
-Airheadz / Wakko Exotics-

Airheadz / Wakko Exotics is the cannabis brand owned by artist Wakko The Kidd. While not a record label, this brand is a key affiliate business to the Psychopathic ecosystem. Its co-branded weed strains with Insane Clown Posse initially established the business relationship that led to Wakko The Kidd’s official signing. The Airheadz logo is prominently featured on his music releases, demonstrating the direct, dual-branding strategy that aligns with Psychopathic’s modern approach to business partnerships and cross-promotion.
-LAZY and CRAZY-

LAZY and CRAZY is the independent imprint headed by producer/rapper Shaggytheairhead. Unlike a traditional record label, LAZY and CRAZY functions as a dual-purpose brand, serving both as the platform for Shaggytheairhead’s own music releases and as his associated clothing line.
-Kuma Kutz-

Kuma Kutz is a newly founded record label by producer Brian Kuma. Announced in August, the label is described as a “fun, passion project” with a focus on Brian Kuma’s own beats, along with unique and eclectic jams and features from special guests.

So there you have it Juggalos! What this detailed breakdown clearly reveals is that Psychopathic Records is not shrinking; rather, it has evolved its structure to foster independence and longevity. The old model of bringing every artist and producer directly onto the main roster has been replaced by a system where the label acts as a powerful incubator and co-signer. Core artists like Ouija Macc and DJ Clay remain essential fixtures, but they are empowered to run their own imprints (like Chapter 17 Records and A.R. ENT), which in turn bring in the newest generation of talent. By officially signing artists who align with their current business model and who bring a distinct, evolving sound to the movement, like Wakko The Kidd, and maintaining a stable of dedicated in-house producers and affiliate collectives like Swamp Society, Psychopathic Records maintains its cultural influence and creative output while reducing the risk and administrative burden of a massive main roster. The Hatchetman co-sign now functions less as a restrictive contract and more as a crucial stamp of family approval, ensuring the Wicked Shit continues to flow through a decentralized, self-sustaining network of independent Juggalo brands. Much love, and always keep it wicked fresh! WHOOP WHOOP!!
