A Farewell and New Horizons for the Underground Artist

The Juggalo community was hit with a bittersweet wave of emotions when it was officially announced that HEXXX is no longer a part of Chapter 17’s roster. This announcement, made via Chapter 17 Records’ Instagram, marks the end of a significant chapter in HEXXX’s musical journey while opening the door to exciting new possibilities.

In a heartfelt post on their Instagram, Chapter 17 Records shared the news, saying, “It is with a heavy heart we announce that HEXXX is no longer on the Chapter 17 roster. He fulfilled his contractual obligations and had a very successful debut with us. We here at Chapter 17 pride ourselves on amplifying the voice of artists in the underground and giving them the tools & wisdom needed to further their careers. HEXXX is no exception. We are proud of HEXXX and his growth and we are excited to watch him spread his wings & soar. We are wishing him & WESTCOASTWICKEDSHIT all the success in the world. Whoop whoop!”

For those who’ve followed HEXXX’s journey with Chapter 17, this announcement comes as a poignant moment. HEXXX, known for his incredible talent and dedication, has certainly left his mark on the label and the underground music scene as a whole.

Hexxx760, as HEXXX is known on Instagram, took to his own profile to share his thoughts, and it’s clear that his connection with Chapter 17 runs deep. “My spirit aches to share this news… Joining forces for the last year and a half has been an amazing ride, and I genuinely enjoyed contributing my art to C17; I’m so proud of the successes we’ve achieved together,” HEXXX wrote.

He continued by expressing gratitude for the opportunities he had with the label, saying, “I fulfilled my 1-year contract early in 2023. Thereafter, it was an honor to have shared more of my artistic vision, in association with the label, for my new release ‘Tales of a Cursed G’.”

However, the departure from Chapter 17 doesn’t mean the end of HEXXX’s musical journey. He assured his fans, known as the Juggalo family, that he has more in store for them. “West Coast Wicked Sh*t is an ongoing movement, and I’m excited to continue dropping more music that y’all can be proud of. I’ve been in the studio recording my next album, which I’ll be revealing very soon, and the best part is I get to see everybody in just a few weeks on my upcoming tour.”

HEXXX concluded his heartfelt message with a resounding “Thank you C17. And to all the family… you know how much I love y’all, from the bottom of my heart. WHOOP WHOOOP!”
