Violent J Joins Joel Madden on ‘Artist Friendly’ Podcast

Hey Juggalos, gather ’round! Something wicked this way comes, and it’s not just another Faygo shower. Violent J, one-half of the legendary Insane Clown Posse, is set to join Joel Madden on the latest episode of the ‘Artist Friendly’ podcast. This is a big deal, fam, and here’s why.

A Legacy of Shock Rap and Supernatural Horror

Violent J is no stranger to the mic, both in the studio and on stage. Since the late ’80s, he’s been a cornerstone of Detroit rap, blending supernatural horror with shock rap. This unique style has not only given us iconic tracks but also birthed a whole subculture—us, the Juggalos. The episode promises to delve into this legacy, offering a rare glimpse into the mind of a rap elder.

30 Years of Hallowicked

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Hallowicked, the annual ICP concert that goes down every Halloween in Detroit. The podcast episode is likely to touch on this milestone, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most anticipated events in the Juggalo calendar.

More Than Just Music

Violent J is a man of many talents. He recently appeared at NWA 75, a wrestling event organized by Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins. Plus, ICP is set to play at Riot Fest in Chicago this September. The episode could offer insights into these other facets of his career, making it a must-listen for any true Juggalo.

Headline should read Violent J interviews some random dude. Guy has a living legend on the line and soaks up about 20% of the interview.
