Since this is the most recent post on here, can someone answer these for me:
1. Does ICP not do the seminar anymore?
2. Does this site not do the GOTJ round-up of news anymore?
3. Did ABK / Lyte / Hoodoo not do the gathering this year? I know ABK’s been doing shit with MNE which to me is his call but I thought there was no beef with ICP
4. Did anyone attend that can share any news or announcements?
That used to be the big stage to share upcoming shit. Or did they stop that because 80% of what they announce doesn’t happen?

1. No seminar in a few years it seems like. Just surprise sets. Which is still fresh I guess, but most juggalos want a seminar. I think a) They just don’t have much in the works to talk about and b) they can hide their shortcomings more behind a 20min set than an hr seminar.
2. FLH Facebook is always popping, but not so much this site in a long time. (Which is a bummer for keeping because I don’t have Facebook.)
3. No ABK, Late or Hoodoo. The only one I was surprised about was Hoodoo. We prob won’t see ABK or Lyte again at GOTJ.
4. I attended, and it was fresh. No real announcements other than Hallowicked going on sale and them dropping WOH.

It really does feel like they’ve slowed right down on Psychopathic projects and news. It’s weird – J said that was the coolest part of the gathering was announcing big shit.

The seminars were always my favorite thing to attend at the Gathering. It always felt like we were in a secret club, about to get some secret knowledge, that nobody else was going to know about. It was just always the biggest blast to watch J and Shaggy fuck around and give us their random list of “important” shit, news projects etc. No seminar puts a big dent in the magic aspect of the Gathering if you ask me. I haven’t been to every GOTJ, but these last few have felt kind of “meh” if I’m going to be honest. Even if most of the shit they said never came thru, or was complete bullshit, it was still just really dope. Maybe if we all bitch and moan enough, thell start doing seminars again.
