Fever 333 Release Raucous New Single “$WING”

On the heels of their rebirth, Fever 333 have just dropped $wing! A couple of weeks ago, Fever 333 played an old school house show, in the neighborhood where lead singer Jason Aalon Butler grew up, in LA. The show, a Fever Function as it was dubbed, was a the bands return with its new lineup. Featuring April Kae on bass, Brandon Davis on guitars, and Thomas Pridgen on drums. The show was followed by a festival performance at Sick New World in Las Vegas, later that week, and then an INSANE office show at the Roc Nation headquarters (which may or may not be indictive of a signing to Jay Z’s label)!

Today, Fever 333 drop what is to be the next era of the band. Welcome to 202333! $wing is a poignant, eye opening, wake up call to professional sports, and hopefully its fans, as it calls out the blatant profiteering of people of color.

Our friends at Blabbermouth had a few words from Jason on the new Fever 333, form their coverage earlier. The full article can be found HERE:

“In a system that exploits the aforementioned instruments of power (the people) for financial and political advancement, we must collectively understand and redirect the dynamic once we realize that we are not powerless against it,” Butler asserts before adding, “‘$wing’ is a sonic reminder that you are the power that they seek and you are the resource they need.”
