This is how to tell that someone who doesn’t know very much about comics wrote the article. “Ashcan” isn’t the title of the book. It’s an ashcan comic. Ashcan comics were originally created to establish trademarks on potential titles and not intended for sale. The purpose of ashcan editions was to fool the US Patent & Trademark Office into believing the book had actually been published. Calling the book “Ashcan” is hilarious, better get that correction posted.

I do think it’s a one-shot, not sure what you’re talking about. My comment was referencing you using “Ashcan” as it’s title. You edited the article almost immediately to say “ashcan preview” so you know what I’m saying.

It still reads a bit off because you left the quotation marks. There’s no reason for ashcan preview to be in quotations, it’s not a title. “Blaze Ya Dead Homie” is the title. But I guess random quotation marks are a better look than you thinking “Ashcan” was the title of the comic book. That shit was a hoot.
