Last night’s live episode of the ICP Network had something that was truly fresh! They called it Song Wars: The Chump Rapper Strikes Wack!
The objective of the show was to choose a beat, modify it to your liking, go into the studio, write a hook and three verses, then record it and put the final touches on the track. The caveat is that you both Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope each had 45 minutes to complete the song. Both tracks were voted on to see who won this friendly competition.

Honestly, that violent j track sounds better than most of the shit that they’ve put on the last few albums.
