Just a fair warning: I am about to make a post about two different things that I know little or nothing about. Hopefully it makes sense to some of you!
First off, there was an update posted on ICP’s socials today that they are among the first groups to create their own Discord Channel! Between Twitch, Youtube, Facebook, etc, this is yet ANOTHER outlet for Juggalos to connect with each other! The only thing is that this one seems to be focused around the new NFTs that were recently announced.

Ok Scottie, and any other ninjas who don’t know, I’ll try to put this in a nutshell.
NFTs (non fungable token) are basicly a digital asset. Just like cash, jewels, paintings, action figures, movies, music, etc etc etc. (Pretty much anything)
These NFTs, whatever they may be, have a unique signature or water mark to identify it.
For example, if you and I were to buy, say, a great milenko NFT, they would have completely different water marks/singnatures, despite them seeming the same. It can get alot more layered, intricate and complex from there but I hope this helps explain what NFTs are, at least a little bit. Whoop whoop!

Idk if I would say that. Pissing away ones money comes down to personal preference. I think it’s more than fair to say that you yourself probably make purchases that somebody is sure to consider a waste of money and vice versa, myself included.
I’m sure 40 yrs ago ppl laughed at those who invested in Microsoft and Apple when 99% of general public didn’t understand or foresee the potential of personal computer tech. Now they’re both the largest multi trillion dollar companies in the world, and are responsible for creating numerous overnight millionaires.
I am by no means saying that buying icp NFTs or NFTs in general is going to do this, but what I am saying is, digital assets are a growing industry.
Even tho cash is still printed, it’s still basicly a digital asset itself. Its still nothing but 1s n 0s untill you withdraw it from an ATM or bank or where ever.
Just bc something is digital doesn’t mean it’s not real. It just means it has a limited spacial capacity, but the digital spacial capacity itself can be infinite.
Gold and land have always been seen as safe investments bc they are real. Just bc something is digital doesn’t mean it’s not real. That’s why we have Netflix, MP3s, E books, Cloud based gaming, etc etc. Those are all very real assets that are all digital only.
NFTs are hot right now bc crypto currency has been gaining lots of traction over the past decade. NFTs are basicly being veiwed as that next leap.
Personally I’m not sold on NFTs just yet but I can see why they may become a huge money maker to the right ppl, but just like any purchase or investment you want to be on the right side of that transaction. I am very pro crypto currency, yrs ago some of my homies laughed at me when I put several hundred dollars into Bitcoin, and well all I can say is I’m the one laughing now. I only regret not buying more. NFTs are about personal preference. Just like an album icp or anybody may drop, there’s going to be songs you like and songs you dislike and other ppl will share your opinion and have different ones.
Personally if icp launch an NFT that I don’t mind buying, I’ll pull the damn trigger. For now tho just trying to learn about their NFTs an educate myself more on their roadmap before I make that plunge. But again don’t look at NFTs as a investment like that, bc like I said they are just like any other asset mor or less just strictly digital.

I don’t think anyone over the age of 30 really knows what an nft is, although some have learned the keywords. I think it’s because we still have a mental foundation of reality from the 20th century.

That mental foundation is reality, for the most part. The entire world is being pushed into an all encompassing relativism that aims to have you own nothing and leave no trace of your existence on earth once you die. Digital currencies, digital I.D’s and NFT’s are the necessary infrastructure of their final solution.

I don’t like the idea of money being electronic. Although I know that’s what it’ll be someday. The reason I don’t like it is because in revelation during the 7 year tribulation (which we aren’t there) those who worshipped the beast received its mark on their right hand or forehead and worshipped the beast and those who didn’t couldn’t buy or sell.
And what we’ve seen recently you can’t buy or sell without a vaccine or a mask, then we saw Canada shut off bank accounts because of the trucker convoy and anybody that supported them got their bank account shut down.
Arresting pastors for having a church services, or giving fines to pastors every Sunday for staying open, only places that shut down during covid was churches. Everybody else was “essential” fuck satan, fuck democrats, FJB
