Whats up Juggalos? Pohanka here again with another tour review. Today we look at Twiztid‘s Welcome to the Underground tour special Fright Fest show in Ric Flair Country: Charlotte NC…WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

As always, when Twiztid comes out to NC, it’s a huge party. This show in particular was a very big deal though as this is the LAST juggalo show to ever happen at Tremont Music Hall before they close their doors for good in December.

The day started out normal. Head to work, clock out, go home, get ready for the show. We made it to the venue around 4:45 pm and Juggalos were out in the parking lot having a blast. Many many old faces, and plenty of new. It was great seeing the old faces especially since this is the venue that I saw Twiztid for the first time in my life back in 2000. It was nice to see it all come full circle. After hanging out with Juggalos for a little while, it was time for us to walk to the gates and introduce ourselves to the crew at Tremont.

The Venue: Tremont Music Hall

This venue has had it’s ups and downs… nights where they were so strict you would get thrown out for looking at someone the wrong way. Not tonight though… They were very respectable to us, and made sure we had stage access for the lovely Hashly Haze to take pictures. Throughout the night the security guards were laughing and just kicking it with Juggalos. They knew that after tonight there would be no more painted faces, no more floors full of soda… no more Juggalos so they made sure to keep the place happy and safe all night. Tremont has always had a special place in my heart, but tonight it was hard to keep my emotions in check.

Before the show we were walking around the venue taking pictures of the family, having a drink and just enjoying everything going down. We walked around only to find some Juggalos from the same area we drove from (Asheville NC, about 2-3 hours away.) who had a table set up selling some very wicked and amazing creations. I HIGHLY suggest you guys check them out at https://www.facebook.com/wickeddreamcreations/.

After speaking to a few of the acts, it was time for the show to start.

To start the show off a local group kicked off the show. 403 Mob hit the stage to set the pace for the rest of the night. Getting the crowd hype was their game. After they left, next up was the hometown favorite F DUX‘s turn to hit the stage. DUX always gets mad love in Charlotte. He comes out swinging all kinds of madness at the crowd. If you haven’t already heard of him, or seen him play at a gathering you definitely don’t wanna sleep on F DUX.

SCUM

After the local acts, coming ALL the way from Denver Colorado for the first time, SCUM hit the stage. After what this man has been through for the past few months, you could feel the raw emotion in his voice when he was rapping. His high energy and emotion made the crowd realize that LSP is a force to be reckoned with in the underground. If you didn’t know about LSP before this show… bet you will now. Do not sleep on SCUM.

Wolfpac

Mosh Pits? Check. Strippers? Check. Hard Hitting in your face music… Check. Wolfpac comes to us all the way from Philly. With crazy antics, and plenty of eye candy, Wolfpac decides to attack the crowd head on.  It was an all out lyrical assault on your ears… jumping into the crowd, rapping moshing, and having a blast these guys and gals from Philly are always a good time… Hashly even had trouble shooting them because of how live they were!

Boondox

Just when you thought it was safe to relax, BOONDOX has once again come to grace Tremont with his presence. If there is one thing I can say about Boondox it is that he has always been down with Tremont and the NC juggalos. He played something off of every CD he’s released.  With something for everyone, he had ninjas singing along, and the club was shaking with love for the southern homie. Boondox ended his set thanking the NC juggalos and giving a shout out to Tremont for being down with Psychopathic and Juggalos for so many years.

Prozak

Prozak once again came back to NC, and it was awesome seeing him. Having just released Black Ink he was in the house to crank out the new shit. Prozak and Flip both didn’t spend one second on the stage… they played their entire set on the barricade or in the crowd. If you haven’t heard of or have just been sleeping on Prozak, wake up!  Strange Music’s own Prozak is back and killing it out on the Welcome to the Underground tour.

Blaze Ya Dead Homie

‘Just in case u forgot about killas that really shoot

Car jackin’ muthafuckas and murderin’ for they loot

Throwing up the East and strapped with 9 shots

Blaze back from the dead in case u forgot”

Blaze is BAAAACK! Charlotte NC raise up and walk with the deadman! Blaze jumps on stage and the crowd is losing it! It’s great seeing the deadman back in the Carolinas. Blaze came out hitting the crowd with old freshness and new! It was for sure a Juggalo party when he hit the stage. He even surprised the crowd with some Casket Factory! B to the L to the A Z E is walking it out all over the Welcome to the Underground tour!

TWIZTID

The demented duo is back in Charlotte and this time will be the last time Tremont will host them.  Twiztid played their first ever Fright Fest show in Charlotte. Personally, hearing “Hom Sha Bom” live is one of my favorite things ever! Twiztid came out with one of the best sets I have seen them play live with some added in Halloween flavor. In true Twiztid fashion they stopped the show just to talk and tell some jokes to Juggalos… even had a impromptu hacky sack game break out. Twiztid and MNE have been making moves and will continue thriving and kicking out the underground sound.

Much love to Faygoluvers, Scottie D, Hashly Haze, getHashly Photography  Tremont Music Hall, George Vlahakis, F Dux, 403 Mob, SCUM, Wolfpac, Prozak, Boondox, Blaze, Twiztid, and all the Juggalos for coming out to the final Juggalo show at Tremont. Next time we meet up it will be a whole new ballgame folks.

Peace and See you at the gatheirng.
