One-Eyed Doll keep proving that they’re one of the most original live acts in the last 15 years. The Halloween Tour stop in Billings, Montana was beyond wild and One-Eyed Doll brought forth one hell of a show! Those who were able to attend left the Pub Station smiling ear to ear, feeling more alive than ever! It was a smaller crowd with over 60+ people, but these were dedicated hard working music fans that wouldn’t miss this show for anything and their mouths watered from anticipation to see the Rock/Metal chaos that is One-Eyed Doll.
Hard Rockers Stitched Up Heart (from Hollywood, California) left people breathless and wanting more! They are direct support for the tour and One-Eyed Doll couldn’t have
brought a better live act out with them. It was the perfect choice! Frontwoman Mixi knows how to get a crowd riled up and her stage presence is flawless, as she is capable of uniting the crowd as one happy family with her fierce energy. Mixi had the audience jumping and clapping throughout the entire set! The crowd proudly cheered her on as she constantly moved around on stage and gratefully showed her appreciation to the crowd by high fiving them and blowing kisses. Stitched Up Heart are able to capture the true beauty that is Rock N Roll by giving it their all and not being afraid to go all out on stage! The amount of energy that the band expelled could even have Gene Simmons of Kiss bowing down and taking his words back about Rock being dead. It’s very much alive and not going away anytime soon.

One-Eyed Doll (from Austin, Texas) more than slayed live with their immense-powerful-mind blowing stage show! It could one day bring on the apocalypse! The amount of creativity the band displayed with their Halloween stage layout would even win over the hearts of Vincent Price and Elvira. The season of the pumpkin was definitely represented to the fullest! Halloween lights/decorations, skeletons, skulls, pumpkins, and a giant inflatable ghost were all present around the stage, while every member on stage with One-Eyed Doll played their asses off! A One-Eyed Doll show is all about crowd participation. Everyone watching and witnessing the crazy stage show will end up participating. Even the most shy person among the crowd will be inspired to get into it.
Kimberly Freeman is by far the most unique Frontwoman in the Rock/Metal world today. No one can predict what she is going to do on stage. It’s super random and literally anything can happen! She may spit water in your face, or she may grind the front of her guitar strings into your full grown beard while in the middle of a song. At one point she jumped full speed into Juniors drum set as if she were paying homage to Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain. Not long after that, she even jumped off stage and rolled around on the floor with her guitar in the middle of the audience, not caring about the fact that she was flopping around in spilled beer or laying on top of stage props that she threw at the audience. It looked pretty painful, but at the same time she was more than enjoying herself. The looks on some of the people’s faces were the best! Their jaws stayed remained dropped long after she hopped back on stage, as they were still trying to process on what the fuck they just witnessed. It was glorious!
The most awesome thing Kimberly Freeman did during One-Eyed Doll’s set was welcome the young children (that were at the show with their parents) onto the stage to throw candy at everyone. Miss Freeman gave the kids Halloween masks as they smiled and gladly threw all sorts of different candy. One little girl seemed to be scared of Kimberly at first, but Kimberly handed her a stuffed toy bear and the little girl gave her a great big hug. It was heart-warming moment indeed. The crowd sang along the loudest during “Be My Friend”! And the most awe-inspiring moment was when Kimberly sang “New Orleans”. It was incredible and it showed that Freeman is capable of any type of vocal range and could go toe-to-toe with any vocalist alive today. After the set, Kimberly and Junior stayed longer after the show was over to gladly meet the fans and sign anything they wanted.
Overall, if One-Eyed Doll are ever touring your area, do not miss them! It’s a damn good time! Even if you’re not familiar, just go! I can guarantee you will come back as a new fan, happier than ever!
