Danny K’s Gathering performance is history in the making!

Yesterday afternoon, InsaneClownPosse.com made a post hyping up a Gathering performance that you’re not going to want to miss!  It’s the return of Danny “K”AE since he moved to Alaska and out of the spotlight.

Danny has been referenced for years as a legend and inspiration to Detroit hip-hop artists such as Kid RockEminem and of course Violent J.  To find out more about what you can expect from Danny K, check the article below which includes an interview, a link to an old school track, and a lengthy interview detailing his history.

From InsaneClownPosse.com:

Music History in the Making: Danny “K”AE Emerges From the Shadows to Perform at the 2015 Gathering of the Juggalos

Some of you have probably been watching the Gathering infomercial and scratching your heads at the mention of “the most unconventional rapper known to man”… Danny “K”AE. You’re probably wondering “Who is this guy? Why haven’t I heard of him? And why the fuck is he at the Gathering?” Pay attention, class. School is in session.

Danny “K”AE (and yes, that’s his REAL name) is considered one of the first—if not THE first–Caucasian rappers to ever make any noise in Detroit Murderous way back in the day. Violent J wrote extensively about Danny in his tome “Behind the Paint,” citing him as one of the rappers who most influenced him to enter the world of hip-hop. Danny’s uncompromising and completely unique brand of rap not only influenced ICP but also other Detroit rappers, including Eminem, Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker.

But while Danny influenced a whole generation of Detroit rappers, he has largely been hidden in the shadows. Nobody really knew what happened to Danny “K”AE and certainly no one had seen him publicly perform for years.

Until now!

We tracked down Danny in the middle of the tundra of Alaska, where he now resides and he agreed to perform at the 2015 Gathering of the Juggalos. To say this is a fucking honor would be an understatement—THIS IS NOTHING LESS THAN A HISTORIC MOMENT FOR HIP HOP HISTORY! The legendary Danny “K”AE—a man who Violent J has repeatedly called a “genius”—will be taking a public stage for the first time in decades. Danny “K”AE is the man inspired some of the greatest rappers to ever come out of Detroit Murderous and we are SO THRILLED to be able to host his glorious return.
