After the disappointing announcement from InsaneClownPosse.com yesterday concerning the Marvelous Missing Link Instore Insanity tour, the Detroit News put up a small article about the remaining cancellations. They also did a little bit of research on their own concerning Shaggy 2 Dope‘s probation. After contacting the Michigan DOC, they found that Mr. Dope was sentenced to 18 months probation back in April of 2014.

Group blames legal issues for cancellation of 12 dates on promotional tour
Insane Clown Posse has canceled its promotional in-store tour for its new album “The Marvelous Missing Link: Lost,” the group announced Thursday.
According to a statement, issues with ICP member Joey “Shaggy 2 Dope” Utsler’s probation sent the Clowns home from an appearance in Silverdale, Washington, and the group canceled the remaining 12 dates on its tour, which kicked off April 28 in Metro Detroit. It was set to wrap May 24 in Columbus, Ohio.
“We thought we had everything worked out and squared away to travel cross-country and meet up with the Juggalo fam,” the group’s Joseph “Violent J” Bruce said in the statement. “But probation is serious (expletive) and we can’t (expletive) around with that.”
The incident stems from Utsler’s Nov. 2012 drunk driving arrest, his second. After pleading no contest in April 2014, he was sentenced to 18 months probation.
The group promised to resume touring “very soon” and assured fans its annual Gathering of the Juggalos, scheduled for July 22-25 in Thornville, Ohio, would go on as planned.
“The Marvelous Missing Link: Lost” debuted at No. 17 on this week’s Billboard 200 albums chart.

Well, now that they can not travel, they can package up my pre-order of the Missing Link CD and send it out. Going to be three week late from the release date – this is my last order from HatchetGear till I get my shit!

Well, lets not judge to quickly on whether or not they actually lied.
As for the pre-order of the Missing Link; it sucks that some of you ninjas haven’t received it yet. I, for one, got it delivered the day after release and I live in the Netherlands. Not sure if they ship based on the First in, First out principle, but I think I ordered the day after it went up on Hatchet Gear.

Amen Mr. Bitches. They put in their work bringing this shit to the Juggalos for nearly half or their lives. They have personal lives and families too.
