Twiztid just announced they will be performing a quick 10 minute set at the upcoming Detroit Music Awards. The awards are taking place on Friday, April 10th at The Fillmore Detroit. Tickets will cost between $20 and $25. Doors open at 6p.m. with the show starting at 7p.m..

Award shows are dumb, they should just be music celebrations where they celebrate the music of that year rather than give their over rated opinions in the form of trophies.

one could say thats what they are doing, by having twiztid there at all. or, for that matter, by having a show at all.
i mean, they could just mail out the awards, and thats that. seems like i remember some website doing that with their yearly award trophies…

still, there will always be those who see shit like this as selling out to the mainstream. personally, id like to see twiztid do the super bowl, but thats just my overrated opinion.
