I wanted to wait until I heard word specifically that this was the case. After tweets that pointed to it being the case but nothing definite, a video was posted of Tech speaking at Summer Jam in Denver about his Mom passing away that morning. I cannot even begin to imagine what it took to be able to actually go on stage and perform while feeling that loss. Tech has personally gotten me through many dark times in my life with his music, and one of those was losing my own mother. I can only hope he knows how much love and respect we all have for him, especially in this dark time for him. You can watch him talking about his Mother passing away in the video below.
