Mudvayne decided to take a much-deserved breather from the road for the entirety of 2026 after crushing it for four straight years post-reunion. But Chad Gray simply isn’t the type to sit on his hands. In a recent interview, Chad kept it completely real about sitting out a whole year:

​”I’m 54 fucking years old. I’m not taking a year off. That’s like me putting my happiness in a cage for a year. That’s where I shine. I love to service my fans.”

​To test the waters, Chad put together a handful of highly exclusive solo shows earlier this spring—starting with a massive sold-out kickoff right in Las Vegas and hitting legendary rooms like The Machine Shop in Flint. The response from the metal family was so overwhelming that transforming it into a full-scale North American trek was a total no-brainer.

​This run is historic for fans of both camps. For the first time ever, Chad is bridging his two musical worlds on the exact same stage, delivering a setlist packed with classic Mudvayne anthems alongside heavy-hitting HELLYEAH tracks. Since HELLYEAH has been on ice since early 2020 following the devastating passing of the legendary Vinnie Paul, hearing those monster tracks live again is going to be an emotional and high-octane experience.

​To bring these tracks to life with the precision and violence they deserve, Chad has locked down a killer touring band featuring Mudvayne’s own live guitarist Marcus Rafferty, guitarist Joe Bonasorte, bassist Nick Villarreal, and drummer Devin Attard. If that wasn’t enough to get the blood pumping, they are bringing the incredibly fierce Butcher Babies and Devil’s Cut along for the entire ride as support.
