Our homie and InsaneClownPosse.com webmaster J-Webb has been working the social media streams like a BOSS today! He’s trying to make sure you ninjas are in the loop about as much as you can be, so I figured we would help spread the word a little bit too.
First up, there was a post on the Insane Clown Posse Facebook that runs down several of the most frequently asked questions that are submitted to the offices of Psychopathic Records and HatchetGear. Take a look at those here:
FAQs — Quick answers to the most common Psychopathic-related questions
Whassup, homies? This is J-Webb and I wanted to quickly answer some of the most common questions we get asked. It’s a quick, easy way for you to get answers you need STAT so you don’t have to wait for a personal response (which can sometimes take a day or two considering the sheer volume of email we get). Of course, if you have a question that’s not answered here, feel free to email us at [email protected]. We try to make sure that all serious questions will receive a reply. Anyway, here’s the info. WHOOP WHOOP and MCL to all of you!1. When is ICP going to come to ______? Why don’t you hold the Gathering in ________?
Juggalos, rest assured we’d come and visit each and every city in America if we could. The problem is quite simply that a lot of venues in a lot of cities won’t book ICP due to issues with throwing Faygo. Regarding the Gathering locations, there are LITERALLY only a handful of places where we can host an event this large. This is the Gathering of the Juggalos, not Lollapalooza. It’s underground, baby! And a lot of venue owners balk at that. So that’s the simple answer.
2. How do I get signed to Psychopathic?
We’re always accepting demos, but you need to send a PHYSICAL CD to our mailing address:
Psychopathic Records
32575 Folsom Road
Farmington Hills, MI 48336
We do not accept mp3 files or any electronic submissions. CDs only, please! And rest assured if we’re interested in your flavor, someone will contact you. Bombarding us with phone calls and emails about the status of your demo will not speed up the process. Added tip: Those demos that are professionally produced and polished and are sent with a press kit tend to get looked at first. We get dozens of demos–make yours stand out!
3. Is this actually ICP handling the Facebook?
No, this is J-Webb, the PR guy but I’m operating this on behalf of ICP and Psychopathic. If you have personal messages for ICP, please send them in writing to our mailing address. Yes, I’m talking about an old fashioned letter! It’s the easiest way to get in touch with them personally.
HATCHET GEAR related questions
1. I paid for 2-3 day shipping but my order hasn’t arrived yet. What the fuck?
This is the number one question we get asked, so let me answer this once and for all: No matter what shipping option you choose…ALL ORDERS MAY TAKE UP TO TWO WEEKS TO SHIP. As stated right on the Hatchet Gear order form: All orders have a two week fulfillment grace period, meaning Hatchet Gear has two weeks to fill and process your order. Once your order has been assembled and mailed, then your expedited shipping kicks in. You will receive your merchandise within two days of your order being shipped, not two days from the time you place your order. Most of the time you’ll receive your swag well within the two week grace period but sometimes a takes a bit longer. We promise to always bust our asses to get you your swag ASAP, ninjas.
2. What’s the best way to contact customer service regarding an issue with my order?
Email is the best way because we’re sometimes away from the phone. If you have some beef with your order or need a question answered, email [email protected]. You can also send a message via this Facebook page. Our customer service line is 248-426-0115. If you call and don’t get an answer, call our main office at 248-426-0800. But email is still the best way to get a fast response.
3. Why don’t you carry _______ in stock anymore?
Juggalos, sometimes we have to drop products due to a variety of reasons. Sometimes they just simply don’t sell and sometimes the manufacturer goes out of business. Remember the “Quest for Shangri-La” board game? We never wanted to stop selling that but the company that made it went out of business. Sucks but there you have it.
There have also apparently been some counterfeit Gathering tickets being sold that they wanted to give you a warning about:
Attention Juggalos! There are reports of some people selling counterfeit Gathering tickets. Be aware that ALL genuine Gathering tickets have SIX points of authentication (four of which CANNOT be duplicated), the main one being the barcode. All tickets will be scanned when you reach the gate–ANY COUNTERFEIT TICKETS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED! You should ONLY purchase your Gathering tickets and passes either from JuggaloGathering.com or from an official Down With the Clown store (see list of stores on the Gathering website).
And finally, I don’t know who started this rumor (actually, I think I might…), but there’s been one floating around that face paint would NOT be allowed at the Gathering of the Juggalos this year. This is beyond ridiculous, and you can see that confirmed here:
Hey Juggalos! J-Webb here with a quick news update. First, to all of you who have not received your Gathering tix yet, you WILL get them towards the end of this week. Most of the tickets got sent out last week but due to a system glitch, there was a small batch of orders that didn’t get printed out. But this has been fixed and we are catching up this week. Also, there’s a stale rumor going around that facepaint will not be allowed at the Gathering this year. That is the STUPIDEST, most untrue rumor we’ve heard all year! Rest assured, you can paint your face however you like at the Gathering!
I hope they don’t start addressing ALL of the rumors you see floating around about the Gathering or Psychopathic in general. That could get tedious! Anyways, hope you dug this, and we’ll see you at the Gathering!

haha. I just actually googled his name and that was one of the only pics that came up. I think it’s from late last year, so who knows what was going on when it was taken.
