ACLU & ICP TO HOST PRESS CONFERENCE REGARDING FBI GANG DESIGNATION
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Michigan and the Detroit rap duo Insane Clown Posse will host a press conference tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, to announce action on behalf of Juggalos – fans of Insane Clown Posse – in light of the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s erroneous designation of the Juggalos as a “hybrid” criminal gang. Previously, members of ICP had filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit in an attempt to find out what justification, if any, federal law enforcement authorities had for this designation.

In response to Amanda Hall’s comment above: Yes, we should thank ICP for going to the great lengths they have to try and get this FBI bullshit reversed. There are Juggalos out there who ruined it for the rest of us by committing murder and stealing using Psychopathic trademarks and merch. So yes, we owe ICP gratitude for this, absolutely.
But don’t think that they are doing it just for us. They have a business to worry about, this same business puts food on their tables,buys school clothes for their children, keeps a roof over their heads. The last thing they need is every Spencers Gifts store or Amazon.com refusing to sell their products because it’s been classified as gang paraphenila. Whether ICP has us on their mind is anyone’s guess. But you can be damn sure that they have their business on their mind because that’s what makes them their money.

its awsome that the clowns are standing up for this, weather its for attention or not, its the right thing to do. Most artists would just sit back and let shit happen, maby make a few face book remarks but that’s all. On a side note I have never been singled out by an accual gang member (and I know a lot of em in diffrent gangs) by wearing Psychopathic merch and I’ve been down since 1995, and have been sporting PSY merch ever since. The closest thing to that to happen was sporting KMK merch, it was a trucker KMK hat with just the KMK crown logo on it. That logo looks gang related, a K and if you don’t know any better another K backwards (you won’t notice that its an M in the middle) and that would stand for King Killer, a Laten King was in a rehab class my PO made me take and was mean muggin’ me the entire class untill I asked him what was uup, he asked me about the hat and I had to explane the fuckin’ thing lol. That’s my only “gang” story about anything relatexd to this. On the other hand, I have been locked up a few times and was pulled out of my pod and sat down to be asked a hundred diffrent ways about my PSY tattoos, “was I the leader of the juggalos!?” Lol!! “What the hell was up with all these juggalos?” What was going on with us? How do we operate? Who’s taggin’ up our city, like what juggalo group was up to it? All that type of bull shit, I just sat back every time and laughed at em the whole time, told em they were wasting they’re time looking into something that didn’t exist so they should just stop. Anyways… I’m ranting but thoes are my stories. Its a good thing that ICP are standing up and trying to do something about all of this bull shit, good people don’t need to be on some fake list that will get people into trouble that don’t need nor deserve it.
