We got a press release from REHAB today about a new solo track that front-man Danny Boone just released. The track is called “All They Wanna Hear”, and it’s a song about a song. The press release explains it all, but if you go to a REHAB show just for one track (which they almost ALWAYS end the night with), then you need to get schooled on some more of their music! I mean the whole Southern Discomfort and Welcome Home albums are CLASSICS! You’d be hard pressed to find a bad REHAB album. Anyways, here’s the press release. Scroll down for tour dates, and a stream to the new Danny Boone track:
For Immediate Release: Danny Boone of Rehab Releases New Single ‘All They Wanna Hear’ Online
Rehab frontman Danny Boone has released his brand new single ‘All They Wanna Hear’ online here. The song is about Rehab’s chart-topping hit, “The Bartender Song (Sittin’ At A Bar),” and the impact it’s had on Danny throughout his career.
“It’s a song about a song that Jason Brooks, Cody Chesnutt and myself wrote. It’s about hoping you can write a song as big or bigger than your most popular one,” said Danny Boone about the track.
From Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker to Linkin Park and Kottonmouth Kings, the band has toured with some of music’s biggest stars. REHAB emerged from Atlanta’s hot music scene in 2000 with their debut album, “Southern Discomfort,” which yielded a Top 15 Modern Rock hit with, “It Don’t Matter.” Other hits that soon followed include “Bartender Song,” and “Welcome Home,” the latter garnering a CMT Music Video Award nomination for “Wide Open Country Video of the Year.”
REHAB, will say a final goodbye appearing in 49 cities nationwide on the group’s upcoming “2014 Farewell Tour”, which kicks off January 30 in Columbus, Georgia.

As much as I love (the original versions) of “Sittin at a Bar”, as Slum and I know, there’s sooooooo much more to them.
