Tech N9ne has won The Boombox‘s Underground Kings Competition. This was a bracket competition that included 32 of indie rap and underground hip-hop’s best and brightest. Tech N9ne emerged with the win by beating out Ab-Soul in the final round.
Who’s the greatest indie rapper? According to fans and voters it’s none other than Kansas City’s Tech N9ne.
After weeks of voting in a bracket competition that included 32 of indie rap and underground hip-hop’s best and brightest Tech N9ne has emerged victorious — and decisively so.
The Tech beat out fan favorite Ab-Soul in the final round with a whopping 88% of of the votes to Soulo’s approximately 12%. Nina beat out his competition by huge margins in every round. Why? Because Tech N9ne fans rep hard for the Strange Music man. As soon as he put out the call that he was in the competition his fans hit the site to ensure that Tech N9ne would win.
