Violent J set to make ICP’s Biggest Announcement Ever at the GOTJ, Plus ICP Theater

The Promotional Train for ICP Theater continues this time with article from Detroit Free Press and Detroit News. While most of what is covered in these article is ICP theater, Violent J does state that no matter what happen with ICP theater, music is and will always be their number 1 career.

Also Violent J said he is set to make an announcement at the GOTJ that will be “the biggest announcement (ICP) has ever made”. Part of these two articles are below along with the links to the full articles.

Fans needn’t worry that Violent J and Shaggy are going Hollywood, however. It’s not like they’re punching up TMZ on their smartphones or have “Extra” host Mario Lopez on speed dial.

“We don’t have a clue whats going on,” Violent J said. “It’s funny how out of touch we are. Fuse has these little bubbles that pop up showing how stupid we are. Like when we mangle someone’s name. I think that’s funny, them showing how stupid we are. It’s authentic.”

Even though the new show gives ICP a chance to broaden its appeal, Violent J and Shaggy aren’t about to give up on their music and longtime fans.

On Tuesday, Fuse debuted new ICP music video “When I’m Clownin’ ,” which includes a guest verse from Detroit rapper Danny Brown.

“Music? Our career? That’s No. 1,” Violent J said. “We are giving this TV show our heart and soul, but our music career is everything to us.”

Insane Clown Posse’s new TV show debuts Wednesday on Fuse

From detroitnews.com

J says he’s both excited and nervous for the show. He hasn’t seen any of the episodes yet and says he wouldn’t want to, out of fear he’d want to make last-minute tweaks. ICP is keeping their fingers crossed for a second-season order, which J thinks they can get if “ICP Theater” becomes Fuse’s top-rated series.

In addition to the show, ICP is gearing up for next month’s 14th annual Gathering of the Juggalos in Cave-in-Rock, Ill. J says if all goes to plan, he’s set to make an announcement at the festival that will be “the biggest announcement (ICP) has ever made.” The newlywed — J married longtime girlfriend Rapp last month at Detroit’s Masonic Temple — also feels “certain ideas spitting at me” for ICP’s next album, the follow-up to last year’s “The Mighty Death Pop.”

But the immediate focus is on “Insane Clown Posse Theater.”

“Even if it flops, we can rest our head knowing we gave it all we’ve got,” J says. “We did not sleep on this opportunity. We made it as big a deal as we could.”

I wonder if “the biggest announcement (ICP) has ever made” is going to become an annual tradition now. Last years FBI reveal was a decent payoff, I hope they can keep the momentum going with this years announcement. Good post.

Yeah that Masonic temple thing is odd, Warlock. Very odd indeed.
The big news is that all of the staff of Psychopathic Records is shit-canned and replaced by those rocksalt-shooting, sometimes butt naked around other men, evil monks from Jumpsteady’s “The Road” story out of “Behind the Paint”.

Y’all want the REAL wicked shit!!?! Bwahahaha die heathens!!!

I wonder if it’s some sort of update about this shit with the FBI. As far as the masonic temple thing go’s yeah it’s kind of odd…and i’m still wondering why Twiztid said that if they didn’t leave Psychopathic then in a year there wouldn’t be anymore Twiztid…Does Twiztid know something we don’t know? There do have a hush agreement with ICP where if Twiztid says why they left then ICP can sue them…maybe I’m just over thinking this shit, I really don’t know but I’m interested in finding out.
