Well Juggalos, I finally got through editing and revising and getting all the uploads situated to bring you all the up to date information on DJ Clay, ‘A World Upside Down‘ and the release party.
First of all I’m just gonna say the Release Party was off the hook. Anyone who had a chance to attend, besides the sweltering heat, is lucky to have witnessed this event. Not only were there excellent opening acts, DJ Clay played the entire mixtape through, from beginning to end, and then afterwards grabbed a mic to perform a solo set! Afterwards I talked with Clay for a minute, but unfortunately our video interview was unable to happen due to some unforeseen things at the venue. However we linked up the next morning and conducted the interview via email.

so in the world of psychopathic we’ll have to wait 3 years or until clay is off the label to hear a clay solo cd? I mean, that’s what I got out of it…with pure translation of course.

DJC: Definitely, it’s been requested by fans for a couple years now so I’m gonna give the fans what they want .
P: One of our readers at Faygoluvers Heaven wanted me to ask you if you ever plan on putting out a solo CD?
DJC: If you notice on “A WORLD UPSIDE DOWN” I don’t have any solo Clay songs but that’s cause I’m writing and putting those aside so when I feel I have enough great tracks to make a full record then that’s when I’ll release that beast .”

Yeah, I know that…but I was just saying because look at what J has been doing with the label…It doesn’t seem to me that it is set up for new artists to succeed, but more for old rappers who were basically never noticed outside of Detroit to come out with a cd because J want’s to work with them. I’m not hating, I got the Hatchetman tatted on my fuckin arm, I’m down…but i’m also emotionally down at the moment because of the way J is running things. I would love to see things ran different at psychopathic, sadly if thing’s don’t change soon Psychopathic probably won’t exist in 5 years.
