I don’t know if anyone else caught this before (perhaps the old site?), but a homie over at Rochester Teen Set Outsider magazine gave me a heads up that a ninja named Justin was featured on an episode of TLC‘s ‘Hoarding: Buried Alive.’ Now this was an old episode that aired way back in April of 2011, but it didn’t receive much coverage at the time. But apparently the episode was re-aired this Sunday evening as part of a marathon. There isn’t a direct shout-out to anything family-related, but for much of the clip Justin is wearing a Hatchetman hat! Also in one of the clips, you can see the letters “JRB” and what appears to be a hatchetman hidden behind a curtain painted on the wall. Upon watching the episode, and further research, it seems Justin suffers from a condition called spontaneous pneumothorax, and (as you’ll see in the episode) one of his lungs has collapsed in the past and has the potential to do so again. Now there has been some controversy over this episode because of the way Justin’s mother treats him, but that is for you to judge.
