So Matt Valentino, that same ninja that sent us in the scans for the Macomb Daily’s ICP story, also sent in the scan from a short article on Legz Diamond, which happened to appear in The Macomb Daily as well.
The article gives a nice little background on Legz Diamond as well as the production of the ‘9 Pistolas‘ album. The article quotes Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse as saying:
“I think [‘9 Pistolas’] is a fun record…good for cruising in your car. I think some Juggalos might be a little confused by it because it’s not wicked rap coming at you right in the face. It’s not about anger or terror or horror. It’s just about chillin’ and good hooks…”
The story rounds out by stating that Legz Diamond is already planning his second solo album. It also reveals that Legz Diamond will be performing songs from ‘9 Pistolas’ during ICP’s upcoming tour.
Now there is no clear indication as to whether Legz Diamond will be performing as a complete separate opening set, or as random drop-ins during ICP’s set, but either way Juggalos are sure to be excited to experience ‘9 Pistolas’ in its live effect!

I’m confused now. Legz said in in his last interview that he was doing a tour starting this summer to promote his album. Who knows. yes, he is a very hard worker. Theres alot of hate towards his new album. I honestly liked it. It is different and better than I expected.

The article states that while he’s performing songs from ‘9 Pistolas’ on ICP’s upcoming tour, he is hoping to “find time to branch it out into its own thing..” So hopefully Legz can do that, I personally enjoyed the album a lot and would love to see a Legz Diamond tour

dont get me wrong i still dont like his music, but mad respect for his work ethic. he could teach teh rest of the label a thing or 2.

If 9 Pistolas lived up to VJ’s discription it would have been a great release. I wish it was more musical. The melodies are anemic.
