ICP Forced to move Hallowicked to The Fillmore!

Attention all Hallowicked-bound Juggalos!  There has been a major announcement concerning this year’s Hallowicked show.  The venue has been changed to the Fillmore in Detroit, MI. This isn’t a “just because” change…it’s actually made national news, and not in a good way. The Royal Oak Police Department has forced Psychopathic’s hand and said “that type of crowd”, meaning Juggalos, aren’t very welcome in Royal Oak.  Here’s the actual quote from TMZ:

The Royal Oak Police Dept. tells TMZ … they never FORCED the venue to cancel, but did ask them to “reconsider” because of the “the type of crowd they bring.”

You can read coverage about this venue change at both Freep.com and TMZ.com.  For now though, check out the full update from InsaneClownPosse.com:

ICP’S HALLOWICKED OCTOBER 31st MOVED TO THE FILLMORE IN DETROIT, MI!

As you ‘Los and ‘Lettes know, ICP and Psychopathic Records were lookin’ to step out of the box this year to have their annual Hallowicked show at a new venue. They had decided on the Royal Oak Music Theatre, everything was announced, and tickets were selling with a quickness! With the rate things were going, the show looked like it was going to sell out fast and the Insane Clown Posse were even in talks to add an additional Hallowicked night on October 30th to compensate for all the Ninjas who wanted to attend!

Well, all those plans were brought to a skidding fuckin’ halt when Psychopathic Records got word that the Royal Oak Music Theatre had CANCELLED the show on Halloween night! When an explanation was demanded it was found out that the Royal Oak Police had requested that the venue cancel the concert citing the FBI’s 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment amongst other reasons. There was no way around it, Hallowicked on October 31st could NOT happen at the Royal Oak Music Theatre.

But because the Insane Clown Posse and Psychopathic Records would NEVER let some cops get in the way of the Juggalos and Juggalettes havin’ a good ass time on Halloween night, the show has been moved! Hallowicked October 31st will now take place at The Fillmore in Detroit, MI! Why did INDY not get a show this year? This would have been our 9th Hallowicked in a row, every year since hell’s pit. Last year they got much closer with us all with the VIP meet and greets and then they take it away :( There were 200 VIPs on devils night rockin that outdoor amphitheater stage to where ICP had to leave the stage and we missed Cold 187 due to them meeting until every single juggalo got all the daps and autographs they wanted. It was cool being at the end of the line thought because you didnt have to compete with anyone. Props to them because it was cold as fuck. Well hopefully next year.
