We just got word from Suburban Noize Records that Rakaa from Dilated Peoples and Prevail of Swollen Members have released a track together called “Frequent Flyers” that can be heard streaming at HipHopDX.com. They are also playing a show at The Viper Room next Thursday, May 31st together! Rakaa From Dilated Peoples & Swollen Members’ Prevail Release “Frequent Flyers” Collabo Track; Rakaa & Prevail To Perform At Viper Room In Hollywood On May 31st
Rakaa from Dilated Peoples has released the new track “Frequent Flyers” featuring Prevail from Swollen Members and produced by DJ Babu online at http://bit.ly/JJdmFI. Rakaa from Dilated Peoples and Swollen Members’ Prevail will perform a joint solo show together on May 31st in Hollywood, CA at the legendary Viper Room.
“Dilated and Swollen Members have been family for most of our careers,” commented Rakaa. “The song ‘Frequent Flyers’ features Prevail and was produced by Babu, and it’s ill. ILL! Aerial assault, flying guillotine-type craziness.”
Rakaa continues to tour in support of his Decon Records released solo album “Crown Of Thorns”, which is available online at http://bit.ly/9hvQCK. Featuring guest appearances and production by fellow Dilated Peoples members Evidence and DJ Babu. As Rakaa puts it, “This is just another piece of the puzzle that makes the picture that much more complete.”
Prevail will be performing tracks from his new “Spasefase” EP, which is available digitally online at http://bit.ly/HcVLW7, and released through Battle Axe/Suburban Noize Records. The EP features guest appearances by Swollen Members alumni Madchild, Malia May, and production work by Ol’ City Rocker.
