Insane Clown Posse in the news!

There are a few different mentions of the Insane Clown Posse in articles on the net recently.  Nothing all that big, but here’s a list for those that like to keep up:

1) Motown Meltdown at the Commodore Ballroom

“Even if you’ve never been closer to Detroit City than the last time you attended the Gathering of the Juggalos, you know the songs that made Motown famous. We’re talking Marvin Gaye’s “I Heard it Through the Grapevine”. Martha and the Vandellas’ “Dancing in the Street”. The Temptations’ “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone”. And the Insane Clown Posse’s “Halls of Illusion”. Count on hearing at least three of those classics when the annual Motown Meltdown takes over the Commodore Ballroom on Saturday (March 31).”

2) Red Hot Chili Peppers at BankAtlantic Center

“We are certain that if Kiedis hadn’t proclaimed that “space is made of everything” with such pre-Galilean abandon, the Insane Clown Posse’s Violent J might have never conducted his interrogation of magnets and just how the fuck they work.”

3) Grading the Top 10 … COUNTRY SONGS!

“…The combination of country clichés, Montgomery’s signature mic stand spinning, and the super half-assed narrative makes these dudes candidates for the Insane Clown Posse of country (unless ICP, who made a Western called Big Money Rustlas, are the ICP of country).”

4) ‘Detroit Music: A Photographic Retrospective’ Offers Snapshots Of Motor City’s Musical Odyssey

“Detroit Music: A Photographic Retrospective” brings together the work of three local photographers, Doug Coombe, Marvin Shaouni and Trever Long, with the words of Detroit music writer Jeff Milo. The show will feature 85 photographs of performers as diverse as Andre Williams, Insane Clown Posse, Daniel Kroha of The Gories and the Electric Six.”

5) What Is Viralism? An Inquiry Into Culture’s Battle For Digital Space

“My personal favorite all-time videos are Rebecca Black’s “Friday” and Insane Clown Posse’s “Miracles,” both of which have budgets and passion that went to someone’s socially comatose dream/passion.”

Wow Miracles must be the hardest thing to let go of for critics. I mean without it they have no reason to make fun of ICP.

You’re stuck in the old school Ganja. The new site is far superior to the old one. Instead of people saying they don’t like the new layout, how about some constructive criticism, likes, dislikes, etc? That’d help in our ongoing effort to make the site even better!

Sorry, I’m just naturally a hater. But I just don’t like this whole set-up. Good job on the whole thing. The forums are back which is maybe the only thing I like, but really, I’m not going to be posting on the forums, I mean, I don’t know. Sorry to sound like a hater, I’m trying to find something I like here. I just prefer the old-school version. This is all too fancy for my liking. But don’t listen to what I gotta say, I’m a hater.
