got a bit of feedback from the people i work with last night.
@djscrubb is definitely a crowd favourite. his vocals and production are completely on point and ‘hard as fuck’ (direct quote).
one of the dj’s said @jiffylong needs to practice more and get into a professional studio and he will blow the world away.
everyone loved @sean-law and @sketchez collabs and wans to hear more
and i got laughed at for $5 curry, rise of the pirate gang and DAF lol.
all in all everyone said the mixtape was killer and they cant wait to hear more.
considering most of these retards love Rich Homie Quan, ill take that as a win.
my least favourite track on the album would have to be nightride. i am a fan of pitch shift, if its done right. but i think jiffy went a little over board and the whole track felt forced.
kinda wishing he’d used to original vocals.
im also thinking about doing a remix of $5 curry, because i loved that song but after numerous listens i think i fucked up the mixing and i agree with miklo that the beat did not fit.
i think the next project will be ALOT better, as it will be less of a steep learning curve for some of us.
