Was thinking of starting a collection of prices for features from underground artists. Drop below your prices if you charge and artists prices you may have done business with. Hopefully this will get artists more work and get you the feature you want.

the only person i know here who charges (but does free ones too, which im assuming means they go on a pile of ill get to it stuff) is sicc se7en, how much i don’t know.
i think youd be hard pressed to find many people here who actually charge, 99.5% of us are all hobbyists. theres only like 3 people here who i honestly believe could make a living from their music.
on a side note, i was curious and apparently GMO skee charges 500ish for a verse. seems a bit excessive if you ask me. he’s cool and all but not 500 cool.

At the end of the day it is a business bro, i love music i love making it and I really do wish i could make dope music for free with people who are talented, but there are times especially when you’re unknown like me where shit rappers approach for collabs I’m not going to turn them away because they’re shit, but I’m also not that likely to want to be on a shit song so i need something small to say that everyone won. I’m paid even if it’s a small amount and they get the verse they wanted.
Great advice for life is do what you love and figure out how to get paid for it. That’s all I’m trying to do, back in the day when i had around 150 subs I’d charge everyone that came to me £20 and I did A LOT of features that shit adds up.
Now I have money n shit I don’t really care about charging people unless I’m super backed up and have so much shit to do that i’d never get round to it, then if they pay i say well i can but all this shit on the back burner cause if someone paid they get it back in a week at the very latest, that’s really what you’re paying for and also the rights to sell it n shit, not that a song with me on would make money anywhere but still.
