Good news everybody. was listening to pmb in my ‘office’ at business ive been helping run on my ipod speakers and one of the employees came in when i was listening to faygo remembers and loved it. he peeped the whoel album and texted me few hours ago that he loves it.
pmb breaks into the non juggalo market whoop whoop!

Faygo Remembers is my favorite track, because Everyone rips that shit. My super secret bootleg version I got at GOTJ didn’t have any raps on it and I was pleasantly surprised.

The only qualm I have (even though it’s not really fixable) is that it wasn’t professionally recorded. Imagine how dope this album would be if you all could have rented studio time, had this professionally recorded, mixed, and mastered. I know it wasn’t possible, but wishful thinking.

Scruffy your too hard on yourself. i loved you tracks, which is kind of silly because i loved it all hahaha.
as for professional production/recording, if you dont pay too close attention then it sounds professional enough for me.

I payed studio time. Mine is professionally recorded, and Sketchez, if I remember right, is a professional and his is professionally recorded too. You can hear it, the tracks that Sketchez did sound a whole lot better.
I big problem for things I did m/m on was the fact that I used ear buds to do the whole thing. Just bought some good head phones and I’m getting shit to sound like a dream now.
And, then being remastered by Sketchez, there is only so much he can do, I probably should have sent him unmastered versions.

But yeah, there is a project I talked to the the engineer I go to about having him do all the mixing and mastering for. He told me I don’t really need him. So, either he thinks I’m good or he thinks my music sucks. I hope it’s the first one.

You don’t even know, it was a pain in the ass. Especially Faygo Remembers. I’d go back to a project like millions of times to tweak it more and more and more and more. Recently bought me some AKG K240s and everything comes out 10X better. I wish I had gotten these back then.

I don’t think I could ever make beats. I don’t even hear the beats to any music I listen to. I only hear the lyrics. It takes a different ear than what I have, I guess.

I tried a few times. Sounded horrible. First I tried having beats of various percussives hit on integer subdivision of 960 since it has quite a lot of ways to divide it. I also tried having beats hit on prime multiples and then applying variations like using Mersenne primes. Nothing sounded good.
